Plant is tough, but woefully inexperienced compared to Canelo. Canelo will school Plant before stopping him. Wish Canelo would hurry up and clean up Plant and Benavidez and move up. The light heavyweights are his only real challenge.

When I was younger and dumber, I used to dream of these ways with which each fighter would beat Mayweather before each fight. Then he won each time. The same thing I see happening every Canelo fight. Posters are certain that each fighter will beat him and then he spanks them. At some point you quit “betting” on opponents.
The nuances of Canelo’s game right now are fantastic and I imagine it will take someone truly exceptional to stand a chance, let alone beat him.

Plant may be able to stick, move and use his athleticism for the first half of the fight. By the second half, I see Plant fading and getting touched more and ultimately stopped.

Caleb Plant is a very good boxer. World class for sure. But Canelo is a different level. And the experience is all one sided. I think this is a 10-2 fight for Canelo. Hopefully we get a Canelo vs..Charlo fight. Those guys are by far the most talented fighters around their division unless you include Andrade who no1 wants to fight.

The result has already been written and Canelo is the winner! Not because he will actually win for definite, but because the judges have been told who will win and a plan is in place….they aren’t going to let the undisputed Super Middleweight title to go to someone like Plant….they will make sure Canelo is crowned Undisputed, whether he won or not!

Nothing is completely out off the question especially in Boxing or other fighting sports like MMA etc, that being said the Odds off an upset are not so great as Alvarez is seen as more off the favourite.....that being said who knows only fight night will tell
