All 3 judges kept their jobs and kept judging pro fights. Which shows their suspension meant nothing. That wasn’t even a band-aid. The suspensions were just to do something, anything, to get the heat off of the athletic commission until it blows over. Just to make believe to the fans and media that “something is being done”. “Justice is being served.” Lies.

Williams still has an awful, undeserved W over Lara in his resume. Lara still has an L there.

Worst Robbery i've seen by far is Pac-Bradley . Bradley won 1 round 2 at best , couldn't have been any easier to score .

Fury*-Wilder 1 (I had it 10-2 to Fury, maybe 9-3)
GGG*-Canelo 1 (Byrd's card)
Khan*-Peterson (dodgy guy in the black hat talking to judges during the fight - stinks!)
Estrada-Chocolatito* 2 (a very competitive fight but I couldn't make a case for Estrada winning more than 5 rounds)
Chocolatito*-Sor Rungvisai 1 (tough, gruelling fight but I had it 114-112 to Choco - feels worse because Choco got KO'd in a rematch he didn't need. Running a WAR twice can be very bad, especially for the smaller man)

More recently on a couple British cards:

Kiko Martinez*-Zelfa Barrett (Kiko took the bigger man to school and old-manned him)
David Adeleye-Kamil Sokolowski* (ref scored it to Adeleye somehow. It's not OK for journeymen to be robbed!)

I didn't catch Barrios/Akmehdov but in Herrera-Hinojosa, Hinojosa was dumb, combined with the referee being incompetent. Hinojosa was on the ropes dodging punches like a goofball, throwing nothing back. The ref was looking at Herrera's back for whatever reason, getting a terrible view of the punches thrown. So to the ref, he wasn't seeing that not one punch landed. To him, Hinojosa was catching a beating. It did not help Hinojosa that he wasn't even fighting back. The stoppage was an awful mistake by the ref and Hinojosa combined.

I am not sure if pro fighters don't know this yet in the year 2021, but judges and refs are physically unable to see the fight from ALL angles. The ref is the closest, and has the best view out of those in the event. But viewers at home really have the absolute best view. Better than literally anyone else. Because we are given ALL the angles, plus slow motion replays.

It was just incompetence from both the ref and Hinojosa. There's no one who cares to see Aaron Herrera in big fights, enough to aid him in winning a fight vs a total journeyman.

Fights like Casimero vs Rigondeaux, and Canelo vs Lara are what passes as a robbery nowadays.

I rewatched Erislandy Lara (speak of the devil) vs Paul Williams, and this is what a real robbery is. When a fighter outlands his opponent in more rounds, with the better shots, and does not get the win.

Lara outlanded Williams in the powerpunch department in 7 rounds out of 12 (most important imo).
Lara outlanded Williams in total punches 224 to 200.
Lara outlanded Williams in power punches 178 to 161.
Lara landed 49% of his power punches.
Lara landed 42% of total punches.
Williams landed at a struggling 21% power punches and 19% total punches.

No, "total" punches landed don't matter, I understand this, it's who landed more punches in more rounds, and who landed the better punches in more rounds. Not just outlanded the opponent with weak jabs or just "total" punches. It is round by round.

Lara did everything you're supposed to do to win a 12 round fight. He outlanded Williams in total, jabs, power and in more rounds. Lara undoubtedly landed the more impressive power shots too, in more rounds. The "wow" shots that please the crowd, please the viewers at home and, announcers and press at ring side. Lara did all of that.

This was a real robbery.

Boxing could have maybe saved face and overturned this decision to a Win for Lara or at least an NC like they do for PED cheats. But they don't touch clear, corrupt robberies like these. And these type of lack of integrity and lack of real solutions to obvious terrible judging/officiating kills boxing's image.

Baseball is a very old school sport where people stress "the human element", and still, baseball uses technology to overturn home runs, outs, stolen bases, runs scored, etc. While pro boxing still keeps their ancient ways, doing nothing while boxer's careers get ruined due to corruption.

Ball sports are open and transparent in the scoring which are something the fans can actually witness themselves littered heavily with downplay where the officials or players contest a play again that the people can witness.

The fact that U use nontransparent drunken punch monkey numbers to mold the soft clay of U stilted intellect instead of understanding the historical nature of the fight biz pretty much dooms U to hysteric statements. And using Lady Lara of all fighters, a sissy's sissy!!! Words fail.

Don't seem to understand how fights are scored today and have no clues or motivation to make things more transparent and accessible to the fans who in general have the lowest IQ of all sports fans who are catered too by honchos setting betting lines and such. What other sport has robbery claims week end and week out as far back as I can recall with absolutely no improvement, none, nada, zip since the beginning of the modern era?
