Ortiz vs winner of Porter/Crawford? Sign me up!
I think Crawford takes him apart tbh. It’s a good fight but I just think Crawford is way too much for Ortiz at this point.

I wouldn’t mind seeing him take a few more fights before Crawford, he’s ready for anyone else though.

      • Very good performance from Ortiz. Only concern I had was how he reacted after being hurt in the second round. Left himself open too much, trying to return fire. Could've gone wrong in a hurry if Egis had landed one more. Going to need more discipline if he wants to beat Crawford

Bud should be the favorite, but it’s going a bit far saying that Bud is way too much for Vergil. Far lesser fighters than Vergil have had Bud in trouble. This is a dangerous fight for Crawford and I will be very surprised if he takes it after he beats Porter.

Its his intensity that is the problem for these guys. Everytime Ortiz upped the pace and threw caution to the wind a little Kava looked weary as hell but Ortiz wasn't sustaining it as he normally would because RG wanted him to box.

Good performance and gets him rounds just don't believe in letting a puncher hang around in there when you can get him out at will
No offense, but glad you’re not training anybody. You’d end some promising careers.

Yeah, right now Crawford might be too much for him but...don't forget that Crawford's getting old. He's 34yo next month.

maybe next year 1 more fight Ortiz will be ready

That's what I saw and was impressed with as well,he knew couldn't just go in there and bomb mean out of there without worrying about what's coming back. Great adjustment and he's the future at welter no doubt..

The only difference is that ignorants had Crawford as the “#1 p4p” and Vergil Ortiz is not even top 10 p4p.
you guys are so desperate to try and discredit Crawford that you’ll say anything, even if it’s ignorant logic. I’m guessing mayweather shouldn’t have been considered p4p because Zab Judah dropped him but just before that lost to someone like Carlos Baldomir. I guess Holyfield shouldn’t have been considered the top heavyweight because Bert cooper rocked him out of his socks but then lost to mike weaver two fights later. I guess canelo should be considered p4p because he went 12 boring rounds with Chavez jr but was beaten until he quit by fonfara. You should learn a little about boxing before making ridiculous comments and research the names of some of the guys who dropped Ali, Roy Jones, Sugar Ray Leonard, etc. Casual.
