If it was a cherry pick then why do the rematch when they knew Fury was capable of beating Wilder? The reality is they made that fight cause it was a mega fight that made sense financially. That’s simply how boxing works.

Fury was with Top Rank for the second fight, it was a co-promotion. Same as Mayweather-Pacquiao. That alone proves Haymon is willing to work with other promoters for the right fights whether you choose to admit that or not.

Crawford was the guy that signed the extension with TR. I consistently defend Crawford on here as a lot of the PBC fans unnecessarily hate on him and his resume but the fact he signed that deal was always going to make the Spence fight difficult. Crawford is essentially being overpaid on ESPN as Arum himself has suggested, so with him not being a big draw there’s not an incentive to make a co-promotion when Spence vs Pacquiao, Porter, Garcia etc will draw better or similar numbers. Again it’s just how boxing works, if Bob had Haymon’s stable at 147 he’d do the exact same.
    This dense fuck.

Everyone knows Wilder was trying to cherrypick Fury and it went a little bit wrong because although Fury is ordinary Wilder is garbage. Wilder has one weapon in his arsenal...he can't box, take a punch, doesn't have good stamina or output, but has a very strong right hand. Take that right hand away and Wilder is like sparring an novice amateur (10 fights or less).

PBC protects their fighters like a Mom does their babies. PBC children talk, talk, and talk but they don't want to fight. That is why Crawford has been singled out much the same Loma was.

Ca$hnelo refusing to be dictated to because he is the CA$H COW. Not PBC lmfao....

Nice to actually have a discussion with somebody without it turning into a petty argument.

Going to purse bids isn’t roadblocking a fight. The fight literally happened so clearly Haymon didn’t block it or they would have withdrawn from the purse bids.

By the time Fury-Wilder 1 got signed, Fury was back in decent shape, off the drugs, back in a good headspace and had won two fights during his comeback. I get that in the first fight we didn’t know how good Fury still was but it was still a risky fight for Wilder to take. Definitely not a cherry pick and the competitiveness of the fight supports that. Whatever though man, I’m cool to agree to disagree with you on that, it’s a matter of opinion.

Nah I’m pretty sure Mayweather was still with Haymon for the Pacquiao fight. Haymon has always remained in Mayweather’s circle in an advisory role of some sort. He’s no longer his manager, but they’ve always continued working together. He talks about their relationship in that article.

I pretty much agree on the Crawford-Spence stuff, both Haymon and Bob are at fault for that. Haymon is no worse than any of the other promoters/advisors from my perspective, that’s why I don’t get the hate. Haymon, Bob, Oscar, Warren, Hearn etc all only look out for their own interests and that’s why a lot of these big fights don’t happen. It’s just how the boxing business operates unfortunately.
This is WRONG and revisionist black supremacy stuff. Wilder was the betting FAVORITE going into the fight per oddsshark
        Deontay Wilder -160
        Tyson Fury +130
Wilder just ****** so bad he needed a gift scorecard from boy Al to save face. And Wilder got SONNED in the rematch. The fight was INDEED a cherrypick and it backfired. Most people thought Fury was done and was another resume padder for Wilder before his undisputed matchup with AJ.

        Get with the program.

Mayweather was his own boss. He may have used Haymon as an advisor but Floyd did what he wanted to do. He fought any promo company EXCEPT for Top Rank and that had nothing to do with the company specifically. Floyd has a well-documented feud with Arum and they genuinely dislike each other which is why the Margarito fight didn't happen, why the Manny fight took 5 years, and why Floyd never fought a TR fighter once he left the promotional banner.

Haymon gets all the **** he gets because PBC has spent a LOT of time campaigning how they're "different" from other companies when they're as bad or worse at this point. PBC is probably the WORST promo company because of the amount of fighters they have.

I truly hope Spence is retired because PBC is ****ED (sorry Spencer). Wilder is about to get KTFO again, Spence retired, Porter/Thurman/Danny Garcia are MEANINGLESS at WW with Boots and Ortiz arrival not to mention Terrence Crawford, Jermell just to to Castano and was gifted a draw (big surprise), Jermall can't stop having close fights against BUMS and ducking Canelo, and speaking of Canelo - if Kayley Plant takes the fight she gets brutally stopped.

Haymon will have only Tank Davis left. Shakur - Top Rank - run the 130-135 division and that's no in question. Loma is still there also, for now. Haney is a pretender and a KTFO waiting to happen, RyGa is a wild card but still with GBP, and Tank is solid but jumping weight to avoid Teofimo and Shakur - both Top Rank.

Never in my life have I seen so many boxing "fans" support a group of cheerleaders in Errol Spence, Keith Thurman, Shawn Porter, and Danny Garcia boycott fighting Terrence Crawford because he was "across the street". That is some serious pussy shit and what's de****able is the way these PBC girls ate that shit up like they were bobbing up and down for cum. Fucking disgusting and really unfortunate for Terrence and his career.

So, yeah, I hope PBC dies. Absolute dogshit outfit with a piece of **** "manager/advisor" who is using semantics to violate the Ali Act by the way.
