And there you have it folks. The real reason there's talk of reducing titles. All that talk of public demand and trying to sound like they care about the fans? Utter BS. Just hope Mauricio got the same letter lol.

The IBF is widely considered the best of the corrupt sanctioning bodies....that should tell you just how bad things have gotten.

One title per division per sanctioning body. I like having undisputed champions with 4 belts. no more than 4. It also means more to beat another champion than it does to beat a mandatory challenger.

Are you talking about making them absolutely not allowed in championship fights.

That will reduce the standard of voluntaries. And will reduce unifications.

If you mean just for mandatories then fair enough. Though you'll be giving a lot of power to the orgs. And they haven't really earned that.

Welp...that's what you get by not supporting the IBO, the only org that's straight and narrow.

I agree with the letter this is a problem that has gotten severely out of hand. It is bad enough that with all the sanctioning bodies most of the time you can’t tell a casual fan who is the champion. Now you can’t even tell them who is the champion of 1 sanctioning body, because of the WBA you have guys like Tank Davis claiming titles in multiple divisions despite him winning several WBA titles that were either secondary titles or in fights out of the weight class of that title. The abundance of titles diminishes the prestige of being a champion as you can seemingly become champion by accident these days.

I said before Teddy Atlas should get something together. He’s the most passionate out of anyone. He has true passion for boxing. I think he would do a fantastic job running a boxing organization that actually cares about the sport.

Teddy's a drooling idiot, though. He cares about boxing but he doesn't know his elbow from his ass.

And in any case, Teddy endorses the Transnational Boxing Rankings Boards.
