He’s on my ignore list but I did so because he is obsessed to the nth degree about black men and for some reason he does try to cater to Mexican Americans because he thinks they are allies against black Americans. Very strange for someone who is obviously British. It makes you wonder how this obsession was born, and by what he says he CLEARLY frequents and regurgitates white extremist ideology websites. Would surprise me if he has accounts on 4chan end 8chan. Tidbit of information, the neo-**** website “st*rmfr*nt” has boxing message boards in it, and you can tell several posters on this forum frequent it. This guy you’re talking to is obsessed by American subcultures

Ugas and Thurman are on record that they were interested in fighting Dud.al haymon wasn’t letting any of his stable near Crawford as long as he’s with top rank and this has been the case for years. So this includes ugas and Thurman definitely wants no part of him. Top rank can make him vs Ortiz but 1. Arum isn’t letting that happen because he won’t risk Ortiz this early in the game and 2. Ortiz has 0 world title fights. He’s only fought 1 guy who’s actually held a belt and that was a division below and he was ko’d two fights before facing Ortiz. So that fight isn’t an option anytime soon. As far as bread and his stance on canelo, you canelo fans are just too sensitive. You don’t care that he calls canelo an atg, you don’t care how highly he’s spoken of him for yrs as a fighter , but god forbid he makes some accurate statements about his justificable ped use su****ion or the obvious minimizing of risks he’s done since the Lara fight, all hell breaks lose and nelo groupies lose their minds.

So you're simply wrong about that.
Just like you were wrong about Crawford not struggling with anybody.
If there's going to be shade thrown at Canelo then at least use reasons that have substance. Based on logic that applies equally to everyone.
Don't criticize him based on emotional arguments just because you're dead set on hating the guy. That's what annoys Alvarez fans.

nice try but pbc fighters can say whatever they want but nothing gets done unless Haymon ok’s it and he never has and won’t unless he’s forced to do so like with this Porter mandatory. Either you think I don’t know any better about the boxing business or you really don’t know any better about the boxing business. There’s nothing emotional about any of my arguments with canelo. I base my opinion on facts. Just like I deproved your stance about Crawford “struggling” with facts. You don’t struggle when you won 20 of 24 scored round and won by ko. If you’re going to make arguments, at least make them valid because it’s actually you canelo fans who get emotional and just want all of the praise without any of the justified criticism. Canelo fans act like they know him personally or something. Try being an actual boxing fan instead of a blind loyalist to a fighter who doesn’t even know you exist.

what bread said about Crawford being better than Canelo P4P... I have been saying for YEARS
if all things were equal... so, if Canelo and Crawford were naturally the same size... nobody going up in weight, nobody coming down in weight... the only question is, can Canelo beat Crawford
Canelo is a phenom, simply outstanding ... and like bread said, he deserves to be the top draw in the sport... but I think Crawford is a better fighter P4P... there isn't much in it, and Canelo definitely has a better resume than Crawford who is wasting his career/opportunities by hiding under Arum's skirt... but I very slightly favor Crawford
and NO... I am not black, so put away your race card
one thing, Crawford has not shown the same progression as Canelo... and this is despite Canelo facing better opposition... so, hard luck for Crawford that he is not ranked more favorably among fans/casuals
they are both superb fighters

Bread acknowledged that Canelo’s resume is better than Crawford. He also called him a HOF level fighter who has a chance to go down as an ATG.I rate the hell out of Crawford as far as talent goes but he’s fought absolutely nobody to make me think he’d even survive a fight with Canelo. The eyeball test isn’t nearly enough when one guy has actually fought great fighters. Bread tries to tear down Canelo’s resume without mentioning Crawford has exactly zero notable wins. Not a one. Not his fault since I think he’s clearly being ducked but facts are what they are. I’m not surprised. We all know the deal with Bread. Change Canelo Alvarez to Jamal Johnson and Bread would crown him king. What is it that Bread always says about tribes in boxing? Yeah. His writing has become a great example.
Giving a breakdown illustrating that Crawford has traits similar to the guys who gave Canelo his toughest fights (Floyd and Lara) is not “tearing Canelo down”.Comment

I thought that Bread’s comments about Canelo’s resume were fair. For example, the Lara fight could have gone either way.
Nitpicking is saying that Crawford “struggled” with a guy who landed a few good shots and ended up getting stopped.Comment

Chronological circumstance is what many fans don’t get, or the facts. At 23, Crawford wasn’t fighting guys like Lara or Floyd. And what boxing fan says Canelo fights the same as when he was 23?Comment
-
Well....it hasn't actually, the point is Crawfords has had the more convincing wins, he's resume is sub-par but that ain't his fault.Comment
