Is Canelo the worst Aside in boxing history?

Imo Canelo doesn't get the respect he deserves, but comparing past Asides, I never seen a guy get put in the position Canelo has.

Remember when he fought Cotto? Cotto even though he washed up dictated the negotiations, it was his way or the highway. Imagine Cotto trying that BS with Prime Manny or Floyd?

FWD now and you would think these guys would feel lucky to secure a fight with him like past Asides.

So why isn't Canelo treated like an Aside like past fighters? Why are Bside fighters so arrogant in negotiations with him?

And lastly will he ever be treated like the Aside he deserves to be??

I agree with the title of the thread. I’ve never in my life seen a fighter demand so many concessions from his opponents.

MIght be because of who he’s choosing to fight.

Most A sides fight other top guys who deserve to be in high profile fights. I don’t know if Kovalev ( at the time he fought him), Yidrim, Smith and Saunders were the best guys.

As we found out after the fact, These fights didn’t generate the sales for DAZN they expected. As Canelo lost his network deal he lost a little bit of his negotiating power.

As long as he has no network deal, I don’t think he can operate like Floyd, odh and Manny.

Frankly, that might be a good thing because he may be forced to fight only the best guys to get the best payments. This could help propel him way up the ATG list.

The Plant negotiations is Haymon not wanting PBC to lose a title. Plant would have accepted the 10 mil DAZN offer it's Haymon that turned it down. He's doing the same **** he did with Joshua-Wilder. Turning down amazing offers for his fighters for his benefit, not there's.

Everyone in industry likes Canelo because for years he does social responsibility awareness and helps people in need far superior than anyone else. Floyd never did that, so worst A side is Floyd. The fact that Haymonites are complaining that Plant is getting a %25 purse compared to Canelo and getting PPV shows Compassion and non Diva. Whereas Floyd did 33:1 (mil) with Maidana 1 who was far more accomplished than Plant.

Haymonites love Al Haymon. To them they live in the fantasy of a tight rope where PBC is standing on with uncertainty if Fox will renew…. So they’ll create fake narratives to make competitors look the issue, all in the essence that they can’t stand Eddie Hearn. LDBC fans think Brits are simply white fans who are racist. If Canelo didn’t look like a ginger or looked more like brothers he’d have more respect from the radical purple slurpers

Plant accepted the offer, Robbie. You're always talking some weird Canelo lover/Matchroom FC imaginary stuff.

He didn't accept the DAZN offer, he accepted Haymons offer which is really his own offer. Does he get brownie points for accepting his own teams offer?

My bad, I misread that Robbie but it still applies about being Matchroom FC.

Haymonites don’t want to accept that Al doesn’t believe in Plant. For him not having faith that Plant could do a Ruiz
1 proves why Canelo’s lawyers shaped up on the small fine print about replacements. Notice how Team Canelo doesn’t get benefit of doubt that perhaps PBC was planning to build
their Plant fight with two fights, the first being a replacement. The LDBC Haymonite fan world try to act rational but these same guys did egg weight theory, water bottles, suits, loyalty, floppy gloves. They can try to pretend to be civil with justifying D side Plant, but we all know the simplest solution, in the case of Canelo, is just do what Ruiz did. Cross over and make that Bread. Haymon doesn’t like to lose and imposed silly font size stipulations in the contract. Fox Execs be like, “you know we don’t got that kind of money, figure out a way to to boost your portfolio with Wilder Fury 3 and PAC vs Spence… then we’ll consider giving Canelo that pay. Make something up and get out of the negotiations!” -Fox
