I suspect that John wasn't happy with Fury's camp in America and got in Tyson's ear.

Fury always listens to his dad, so I think he'll train with John and then move his camp back over to the States for the last few weeks.

In hindsight, I think the Covid thing was bs.

Yeah I'm a Fury fan, but I tell it how it is. I still support the guy and i think he beats Wilder and Joshua, as long as the fights happen soon.

Tyson isn't getting any younger and sooner or later all his out of the ring antics, the weight gain etc, will catch up with him.
I will ask the questions again.

Do you think Fury faked Covid? And if he did, do you still respect him? And what do you say about him not fighting in 2 years and never defending a belt? Are you OK with all of these things from him?

I think John has a lot of influence, and i believe the only reason he isn't training Tyson full time is due to him being banned from entering America.

Note: I actually wrote a longer response, but I must of deleted it by accident. I cannot be bothered writing it again. I think the best UK trainers are Adam Booth & Don Charles, I have no idea why? Booth has not worked with any heavyweight since David Haye's retirement.

Peter Fury wasn’t in his corner for that fight against Cunningham. Not sure why that’s relevant here since Cunningham was severely outsized .

Id say McCracken and Tony Simms are the closest to the old school U.S guys .

I like Davison he’s still learning , I’d say him and Mark Tibbs and Peter Fury are the top 5 for me personally .

Of course he didn't fake COVID-19. The TV companies, sponsors etc would all have been involved in postponing the fight and seeing the test results.

It was most likely a false positive, assuming that Fury didn't need to take several tests in the first place.

I'm really surprised at how little some people on here know about boxing. A decision like this would not have been taken lightly and all of the people making money on this fight would have been involved in the decision, the TV companies, the sponsors and the Commission. It wouldn't have been the case of Fury faking a test result and the whole thing's off lol

Fury is not going to grind it out in the U.K like he is in the hard nosed U.S gyms . If Hill is able to do this in one fight granted it’s Wilder , he could surely make Fury way more effective in another . I would trust Sugar Hill with heavyweights over Peter anyway .
John or Peter MAY be decent trainers to a certain level but IMO there is no way either one of them could get the same results as Sugar Hill. His lineage alone speaks volumes and the results were obvious.

The way I see it is that Wilder, in spite of his many flaws does have that equaliser and that means you've always got to take him seriously.

When the arbitration went down I think Fury's team thought oh well it's "only" Wilder again so whatever let's make the fight in 7 weeks and just get it out the way.

Well thankfully John Fury is smarter than that, you don't need a fury who was out of shape and had been preparing to fight AJ going in with a Wilder who had spent the last few months training for Fury, and a 100% Wilder getting a fight vs a 70% fury.

I'm happy with the delay as I don't want Wilder getting a sniff of an advantage, he has enough already with all 3 fights being in his home country with refs like Kenny Bayless, I wish this fight was happening in Manchester with Terry o'conner tbh as I'm sick of Wilder getting chance after chance with all the logistics in his favour.

It's called a face-saving move. He knows damn well that Tyson isn't fighting Deontay in October. I remember when John Fury was making a complete ass out of himself by accusing Anthony Joshua of not wanting the Undisputed bout.

However, it turned out that it was Tyson Fury who didn't want the Undisputed bout with Anthony Joshua. John and Tyson Fury are both full of shit. You can't trust a single word they say.
