I like boxing and MMA but MMA guys only make the jump across for money. They all know they'd get ruined and that is bad for boxing's overall image.
Ray Mercer to his credit showed a lot of balls and went to both MMA and K-1, although he was already old at that point. A boxer can potentially win like 1 in 10 times in MMA just via punchers chance, but yeah the other 90% of the time they are getting taken down and beaten in the first round.

The whole boxing matches vs MMA guys trend recently is definitely bizarre. I dont know if the promoters think they can get more attention by trying to bring in the MMA fanbase as well or what. Its a total circus. Imagine if every few months the UFC was main eventing PPVs with boxers making their MMA debuts, not to mention all these Youtubers and **** too. Its not a good look.

Usman has been tearing it up in the UFC, but he's been feeling himself a little too much lately.

He needs to stay in his lane. I don't see Canelo saying he could just walk into the UFC and beat their champ.

You don't KO Masvidal in an MMA fight and think you're do the same to Canelo in a boxing match.

Chavez Jr is a bum. Canelo is at the top of his game. Big difference

These ufc guys always want to fight the best boxers in the world in their very first pro boxing match without proving their worth as a boxer even once. they just want that big payday right away that they will never get in the ufc. They know any decent pro boxer would beat them so they want the AJ or Canelo fight in their 1st boxing fight because they know they will get KOed but still make huge money. Canelo will never waste even one fight of his important career on a MMA guy. It would only make him look bad and do nothing for him.

              nothing went over my head
The interview has to do with boxing’s top name. So it is going to be in boxing’s top forum. Any interviews or comments that have to do with boxing, will most likely be on this forum. It’s not rocket science, guy.

No not at all kid. Ufc fighters are always calling boxers out. It doesn’t matter if it’s a top name or not. Everyone aswell as boxing media know what it is. You are clueless Kev.

                  Lol.

Usman didn’t call out Canelo. He was asked a question and he answered it. Most fighters are just answering questions. But low IQ people think that it’s just that fighters are randomly talking. As boxingscene does not format their interviews as Q & A, or even notify the reader at all that it’s an interview. Slower posters can not deduct that it’s an interview. To slower people, Usman called Big Poppa Pump to talk about Canelo. And then BPP told us about it.

”UFC fighters are always calling out boxers.” That is irrelevant to this topic. I do not care what UFC fighter called out which boxer. In this topic, Usman was answering a question about fighting Canelo.

You need to take a step back and see what you are doing. Boxingscene reports boxing-related news. You are complaining on a boxing news website, about the site reporting boxing-related news.

I am sure that who ever reads our conversation will likely see that you are the clueless and stubborn one. But carry on “Gucci god”.

Read properly. I can give you many an example right now if fighters saying they could either beat Canelo or calling other huge names out and 9/10 it DOESNT make it onto here. But once an MMA fighter does it, in an ERA were MMA/YOUTUBERS wanna be boxers and Boxingscene are all over it.

how long you been using this site for?

Lol at a super lame attempt at ridiculing by hyper phrasing a username I use on a website. Do better Kev pal, you’re no Kevin Webster are you? Thought not. Back to sleep in those Anthony Joshua pyjamas you haven’t taken off since Christmas 2017 !! Taking selfies drinking lucozade and holding lynx thinking that one day you can be just like your hero Eddie Hearn pmsl.
