From the ESPN report it seems he wants to be paid 40M+ even if plant gets an injury or gets sick and has to pull out of the fight. Canelo has proven to be quite the diva

He wants a guaranteed contract. Well Canelo knows that no promoter can guarantee him that. He's being a racist asshole and a spoiled prick! This is not Major League Baseball. Promoters don't guarantee contracts. You either perform before you get paid in full or don't. This is why promoters have insurance If a card falls through. So the insurance could cover all of their losses and damages they may have incurred as a result of the card falling through.

A very good fight indeed. After seeing Bivol against Richards, I don't think he would beat Canelo.

It's a pity if the Plant fight doesn't happen, he seems like a guy with a style to trouble Canelo.
