    wtf ?

Fury will collect a huge payday for drilling Wilder again, and then he will smack around that bodybuilder for another huge payday

why do these guys think that Fury would not be confident of winning both of those fights?

it will be unusual if he does not win both of those fights

Come on, seriously believe a multi million dollar event is being postponed because Fury is faking that he had Covid ? You can’t seriously be that naive.

Fury: Hey guys I have Covid, can’t fight til October, you understand right?
Team Wilder: Sure we get it, get well soon, come October it’s lights out for you!!

Seriously. Take a minute and just think about how silly that is. The reality is this: Fury and multiple people in his team caught Covid (AND)/ OR this fight was about to be a serious financial disaster for Top Rank/ESPN/PBC/FOX and a postponement was the best financial plan of action for all parties involved.

if you seriously believe Fury just said “I have Covid and I can’t fight til October” and team Wilder just said “okay, no questions asked” I have a bridge to sell you

Right on...it's always about the money and so far it looks to be a financial disaster.

lol so this is what it was really about all along

they were hoping to get step aside money - ie paid millions for sitting around not doing anything and then have the option to face the fury-AJ winner

Fury just needs to get his finger out. Be reliable and honourable for once and get this fight done. And if he wins we can hopefully get undisputed and Deontay can go fight Trevor Bryan for the WBAs Tank belt.

              I agree.

It's far more likely that Fury's team, desperately looking forward to the fight, forgot to engage any kind of COVID safe rules in the final stages of camp. And likely that they had not even heard of COVID, given that Fury and Parker (both confirmed to have tested positive) were out and about the next day.

And far more likely that the TV rights in the UK were always going to Fury's regular broadcaster, but they avoided telling their customers because they thought it would be a nice little surprise.

And far more likely that Arum really had $15M of ticket sales in his bank account but the website showing the majority of seats were available was just malfunctioning.

And far more likely that the fight was all in such good shape that they just didn't really need to promote it.

You're right, that's all far more likely.

Step aside money gets you more money . Fury once again proving he didn’t want the fight as bad as AJ . Fighters looking into what others get is really lame who cares what Wilder gets you get more and fans get undisputed. Fury is really getting exposed here in the article.

I do agree with that part! His team seemed pretty angry about Middle East money, announcements, etc.! Seemed weird! Why did Bob keep telling Eddie to shut up, even after Hearn secured the bag from the Middle East? Then no step aside offer at all? Even when you're going to fight for the undisputed? Again, very weird!
