I think if Oscar goes to Triller, Golden Boy Promotions will soon become Tits Up Promotions.

This is just gossip so that DAZN gives GBP the BEST deal for its current pool given the circumstances. DAZN can’t hold GBP’s fighters at fault. Besides they have Canelo.

I would only consider Triller is GBP makes it EXCLUSIVELY to have Lampley call their fights not rap stars. It is just wrong with Snoop Dog involved. Sounds like an event being mocked by some stoned ****** thug, and on top of that, Oscar is high too on that platform. Their whole company would crumble.

I think Tetreault would be the guy to knock sense into GBP to continue on DAZN and focus on better days. Tetreault gets a piece of everything so it would only be smart to stick with the platform that continues to grow. Triller and it’s low priced PBC PPV’s will still suffer from piracy
I don't know if I want to see Triller either and I thought the same thing about Lampley - if GBP goes there it has to be a serious production most of the time. Not all the time though...

Golden Boy has tried some different kind of events here in LA - some might remember when they did fights at The Mayan here in LA and it was like half club/half boxing and music would be playing during the fights...parts of the venue standing room only. That guy Tattoo was the MC giving away free sHT in between rounds. I think they were only streamed on Facebook though...but anyway, they aren't afraid to try different stuff to engage the live crowd and not have them sitting through 30 mins of just the resident DJ while a TV promo or commercials are playing.....they have a way of keeping cards relevant to the locals, they keep the So Cal boxing scene alive for the past years...always engaging people if you sign up for their updates. If Triller keeps it classy for the real cards and then does experimental stuff here and there maybe it can work...they haven't had a live crowd yet. For a live crowd who knows what they will get with a Triller card, I think they will probably have fun.

Maybe GBP says, look we dont always want these rap/R&b artists - look at Canelo's entrance for Saunders, that was pretty cool...it took forever, unnecessary, but still a spectacle. They can have some popular singers/bands instead of the rappers.

DAZN has had some growing pains and still hasn't found its groove but I like the approach and OTT aspect, it's coming along. I hope it works out, definitely rooting for GBP because they always have the LA fighters!

Golden Boy consistently puts on the most entertaining cards top to bottom in the US.

For that alone I hope they can find a profitable deal and a new home.

He should go to Showtime. He has a lot of young talent that needs some television exposure and awareness that they otherwise, wouldn't get anywhere else on an online streaming application.

Jaime Mungia, Ryan Garcia and Vergel Ortiz all need mainstream and crossover exposure among casual fans. Their talent is being buried underground on the world wide web.

Outside of boxing fans, hardly anyone has ever heard or even notice them.

No BS, but Thriller might be the best platform for Ryan Garcia. Considering the $1 million plus buys social media star Jake Paul did against a faded UFC fighter is a hopeful sign for boxing’s biggest media star in Kingry. Like it or not… Thriller is doing something right, otherwise Showtime wouldn’t of stolen Paul and signed him to an exclusive deal for his next fight. Ryan’s brand can definitely grow in the Thriller platform, add to the fact the kid already sign to Gatorade and hawking 1800 Tequila kid can definitely be the next face of boxing w/t careful matchmaking of course.

Tyson, RJJ and Jake Paul have all either left Triller, swore to never work with them or are currently suing them, and you take this as evidence they are doing something right?

IMO Tyson & Paul did well despite Triller not because of it. Lets see how it works out for Teo, if it ever happens. My feeling is that Triller's involvement in boxing is close to done.

Also people blaming dazn and Hearn for Oscar and Canelo's split, looks to me like Oscar did that all on his own.

Paul left b/c Showtime gave him guarantee money something Thriller didn’t do. Also, Thriller CEO Kavanaugh already showed proof Tyson was paid his purse same w/t Jones. Don’t blame Thriller for both Tyson/Jones teams stealing from their fighters . If you gonna make accusations at least be accurate with them, LOL.

Also the Jake Paul fight did great b/c of the promotion along with the music acts Thriller put together. I mean dude isn’t even the best known Paul brother yet did over a million buys, give Thriller its due not one fighter today are doing anywhere near a million buys now and days. As far a Teofimo is concern last I remember it was Teo who is preventing the fight from happening b/c he don’t want to travel to Australia so that’s on him not Thriller.

The bold: I don't see these guys really amounting to anything, especially the Munguia guy. For the future of GBP, maybe they should invest more in William Zepeda and hype the hell out of him. Everyone was glued to the screen in his last week. The action had no breaks. Don't waste that momentum. Fight him in September again. I'd pick him to beat both Ryan and JoJo. Make those fights. Start talking about his next fight NOW.

He already has one huge fan on here (Me).

I didn't blame triller for every big fighter they have had leaving, suing or saying they will never work with them again, I'm just saying I find it hard to see it as a positive for Triller.

Bit ironic to then talk about inaccurate accusations, what accusation did I even make?
