He is more old version Foreman. everybody says he is too slow, too old, too stiff, a mummy..but he will still take a world title.

Yeah very different personalities. I always used to enjoy the build up to Froch fights, he loved creating a bit of needle.

i never though froch had bad defense or that he was particularly easy to hit. joyce isn't that easy to hit either. he's just slow.

joyce is a HW and believe me, when dudes wake up on the ground they're not going to remember how easy he was to hit or how slow he was. that division is all about power and having a good enough chin to weather a storm.

          I’m not seeing it.

The key to Joe’s success is his size, physical strength and stamina. Joe’s footwork is horrible and he can’t throw a proper punch.

Froch is no Lara but his footwork is adequate, also he gets decent leverage on his punches.

Froch would literally cross over his feet when he committed with the right hand. Case and point Groves 1.

I actually don’t think Joyce’s footwork is that bad tbh. I think it’s decent when you factor in his size.

I'm convinced Joshua starches Joyce early after that last fight. Thought Takam buzzed him a few times with those rights and he even kinda admitted to it in the post fight interview. I also think that all these fights of eating clean shots will slowly take their toll and Joyce's chin won't be as unimpeachable when he gets to AJ (if he gets there). Think it might even be an out cold situation. Don't care how good your chin is, you can't take clean shots like he does from the Joshua's and Wilder's of the world, nobody can

One thing is certain: Joe doesn't fear AJ after watching the Ruis fight.

I think AJ will try to box him, come in light and be light on his feet.

Joe can be outboxed by guys with skills but not sure AJ has them

                  Good resume nothing special.

Joyce is not a bad fighter, but he is not at the world level. If that were Wilder landing those right hands over the first 4 rounds, this fight would have been over in the second round.
Wilder would have been down loads of rounds if he fought Joyce and he wouldn't be able to rely on his opponent gassing because he's an old man like in the case of Ortiz.
