Reminds me a bit more of Foreman with those slow (weak looking) punches that probably really stings. Froch was more of a bullrush guy.

I’m also convinced Joyce beats AJ if they end up fighting. He’s a nightmare for him stylistically.
      LOL

      So you're saying:

      -Turned pro late.
-Written off as a pro by many.
      -Awkward looking technique.

The above only applies to Froch and Joyce does it?

Nonsense post from you yet again. Froch was far more skilled, turned pro at 25, Joyce turned pro at 32 hahahahaa

Man you know nothing about boxing.

You’re unhealthily obsessed with Crawford man.

I’m not even a Crawford fan, I’m a big Spence fan. I’m just objective and Crawford’s resume is unquestionably solid. Again nothing special but it’s a good resume.

You can actually make a good comparison with the resumes though especially as some people wrongly suggest Froch’s was great and Crawford’s is bad.

Per ring Magazine rankings, Froch beat 5 top 5 guys and 8 top 10 guys. Crawford has beat 4 top 5 guys and 7 top 10 guys. The highest ranked guy Froch beat was #2, the highest ranked guy Crawford beat was #1.

Froch is 10-2 in world title fights and 10-2 against current/former/future world champions. Crawford is 15-0 in world title fights and is 8-0 against current/former/future world champions. Froch is 0-1 in lineal title fights, whist Crawford is 5-0.

If you look at it objectively both have very solid resumes but nothing special.

froch boxed with abraham. jabbed, moved his head, got abraham to drop his hands and give up the middle of the ring. he had dimensions beyond just bumrushing guys or outlasting them with his conditioning and chin. i liked froch. he had a very good career.

Yeah similar to Joyce. Both can box, as their amateur credentials show.

I’d say Froch relied far more on his stamina, toughness, chin, power etc rather than his boxing ability though. Those were the attributes that made him a very good fighter IMO.

I enjoyed his career too, was regularly in good fights, loved the rivalry with Groves and also enjoyed the build up to the Ward fight in the Super 6 final.
