Yes, I don’t think anyone forgot, however it’s also fair to say that AJ critics will forever cling to that fight while downplaying the fact that Joshua dominated Andy in the rematch.

He won all his titles off the fattest champion in history who forgot to train for the fight. And only got that fight because Eddie bought it for him.

What does that have to do with Joshua? Was he supposed to postpone the fight so Ruiz could go on a diet?

I understand that. My point is that Andy Ruiz wasn’t some random journeyman going into the fight. An underdog? Of course, but it wasn’t like he hadn’t competed at the top level before.

I don’t know what the “furry muff” comment is about but yes, Andy Ruiz had a close fight with Joseph Parker that could have gone either way. That’s what I said in my original comment.

I believe that Joe Joyce is a tough out for anyone. I wouldn’t favor him over the top three (Fury, Joshua, Wilder) but he’s right there in the mix with Ruiz, Ortiz, Whyte, and Parker.
