    There’s no irony.

While it doesn’t completely mean Crawford will beat Porter, Crawford destroyed Brook in 12 minutes after Brook outclassed Porter for 12 rounds.

Bringing this up is not insane. It is a logical reason, one of many, as to why someone is rating Crawford above Porter.

What is insane is immediately jumping to a comparison between Muhammad Ali and Shawn Porter.

And that’s why this site never disappoints.

It’s very much insane! They fought 7 years ago when Brook was in his prime at 28 years old. The Brook Crawford fought is a shadow of the boxer he used to be when Porter fought him. So yes, circular logic was used by the poster and very poorly I might add.

Crawford doesn't make you take knees for 10, like Spence can.

Crawford don't have you rolling around on the ground holding your stomach in pain, like Spence can.

Crawford has NEVER rearranged a face like this

Remember, Chris Algieri arguably beat a fresher version of Amir Khan - and didn't need a low blow at the end of it.

So you can discredit all you want, brother.

Fact remains, your guy has no resume at 147, and even that same Algieri you discredit has a better resume than him.

          So

Brook was also doing very well and was arguably beating Spence when that fight got stepped. Not taking credit from Spence because he was the tougher guy on the night, but Brook revealed a lot of flaws in Spence's game. Granted, Spence has certainly improved since then.

Definitely, agreed. Porter may be the best style to test Crawford.

Because bidding on a mandatory shows both fighters the value they each bring, and with a 60-40 split Crawford's way, there's really no excuse not to take it.
