From what I gather from the whole situation is this.

Porter was WBO #1 and Crawford's mandatory. HOWEVER, Porter didn't want to exercise the mandatory clause because it would equate to a lesser % of prize money. Thus he tried to negotiate outside of the mandatory but failed because Bob Arum didn't want to allow Porter the same amount of money that Spence did, and to add to it, Crawford never pushed Arum to make the fight either.

After so long, Porter missed his opportunity to exercise the mandatory clause and temporarily lost his ranking/ position as the mandatory. Hence, noise surrounding a potential fight vanished and Crawford went back to bullsh.itting the boxing community.

NOW AFTER A LITTLE BIT OF A WAIT THE WBO FINALLY FORCED IT TO HAPPEN.

If you are a true boxing fan, you should be happy to this news. I know I am. I'm not a biased c.unt. I just want to see the best fights possible and this is one of the best for Terence Bud Crawford.

Now it is out of Arum's greedy, stubby, hands and out of Crawford's no ambition, yes-man, hands.

Crawford has to fight Porter now.

Thing is.... I won't be surprised in the slightest if Crawford vacates his title instead of fighting Porter.

Not in the slightest.

But the boxing fan in me hopes this happens. This will be, likely, the best boxer Crawford has ever fought and 100% undeniable the best he will have to fight at Welterweight.
