The WBO finally gets a pulse at Welterweight.
Savvy behind scenes work by Arum, just before he probably loses Crawford in the stable.
Excellent fight ... that Crawford has avoided at all costs for a long time (to his shame).
Would be even more excellent if it went to a purse bid, letting all the potential suitors for Crawford's future in on the act.

That said, Porter wins this fight. Porter will drop Crawford in this fight (due to styles), and Terrence will be in a dogfight even if/when he lands his strongest punches ... something he has not faced in a very long time. I'm not sure Crawford can properly prepare to get hit back with solid punches consistently in a fight. Add to that Porter (normally) has no quit. After accounting for skills and experience, the difference will be that Porter has been in many wars ... and knows how to prepare and stay strong to the end. I don't think Crawford has that in his belt at this time. Porter will connect, hurt him, wear him down, and win. Even if Crawford connects and hurts Porter.

I hope Crawford is done figuring out ways to avoid the right fight.

PS - If Crawford pulls out a win in this fight, he is legit at Welter ... and the Spence fight will be huge when it happens. Even if Paq pulls out a miracle.

This fight happens only if Porter truly wants it. We already know that Crawford doesn't want it and neither does Bob or Al. If Porter does want it, then he will force a purse bid in order to get it secured. Al Haymon should bid on this fight ASAP. Take Crawford off of ESPN early and have him fight on Fox PBC.

Finally a fight with some real top grade fighters. This will be a great and interesting fight to watch. Could go either way IMO. Watch the viewers and PPV people come in droves for this one.

Notice that all of Crawford's recent wins, definitely all of 147, are ref stoppages, all but one of which were sketchy.

Crawford doesn't make you take knees for 10, like Spence can.

Crawford don't have you rolling around on the ground holding your stomach in pain, like Spence can.
