For clarification, am I right in thinking Crawford's contract expires in October? Does he need to satisfy one more fight for the contract (intended as Zepeda) or does it simply expire in October?

The WBO issuing this torpedoes the Zepeda fight I imagine and Bob will either have to pay (unlikely) or lose Bud barring a contract renewal (also unlikely).

Pretty interesting that Porter gets 40% cut based on his most recent purse bids in comparison to Crawford. Will be curious how the bids play out if it goes that route.

No way this happens. Arum isn’t paying Porter and no way he lets Crawford go to a purse bid.

Arum doesn't have a choice. He either coughs up the money to have the fight on ESPN, or risk the fight going to purse bid, and it ends up on PBC or DAZN.
