This is Philippines, lol! The country of one of the hard-headed people in the world where discipline almost not existing! Ask the populace not the politicians and they will agree!

Three major roads going to Baguio is smooth and you can reach the city with convenience. Pacman is popular any place in the philippines not only in Manila, which means Baguio populations alone are more than enough of Pac distractions, much more from provinces around the city! But most of his distractions are those from influential politicians and businessmen of which could not just say no to their invitations and calls, and media following his activities.

What Pac needs is a relatively peaceful place to concentrate training and the only solution is, to stay away from Philippines for a while while training. Cotto is much serious opponent than his previous opponents. If he wanted to close his chapter with impressive ending as great fighter, he should beat Cotto and PBF before retiring!
"Highly Urbanized" is a political term and is not a term that is really descriptive.

I would love to find a place that is really peaceful but as it is, there are trade offs with everything. Really? working out in Mexico, a place he's never been to, is a better idea?

BAguio is a good spot. It's not an open house. The important thingis the policy to be laid down. Pac won't get many invitations for dinners and such being in Baguio.

The training faility is likewise remote.

And can people stop saying "Cotto is a much more serious opponent and such and such..."? Say it on your own and not as if to remind him because he knows it!

He knows it! He knows it better than you and I do.

Roach is a half reason making Pac stood in his place right now, and the other half reason of course is Pac qualities. Just not good to defy serious suggestions from his trainer after he listened to him throughout in his uphill battle to fame. Now that he is in his last two hurdles in his career which is the most crucial part, he defy hs trainer suggestion???? Roach as one of the best if not the best trainer in the world knows what best for his student, and the only thing in his mind I think is, to make his student wins against Cotto, and possibly to PBF! What's wrong with that idea?!

Many of you may not remember when Zab Judah fought Kostya Tyszu. Judah was schooling Tyszu in the first two rounds, came back to his corner and told his trainer/father that this fight was easy. His father/trainer, very sternly, told him this was not an easy fight and that he needed to take it seriously. In the next round, Judah dropped his hands and leaned back while trying to avoid a punch, got nailed and ended up doing a modern version of the funky chicken.

If Pac doesn't take this fight seriously, something similar will happen to him.
Just for the record Zab was knocked out in the 2nd rd.

Yes, "Highly Urbanized" is a political term to masure density of population in the locality. Sorry to tell you that Baguio is an open house. The fact, just less than 25% of the city populations are the original locals and the majority populations were migrated to the city from other cities and provincies. And where that damn remote facility you're talking about in Baguio? I don't remember and afraid a facility you're invisioning is non-existent in the remote places of Baguio or even in the outskirts close to the city. And yes, Baguio is one of he favorite places of politicians and businessmen alikes! The fact, they have also their vacation residences in the city, so raining Pac with invitations will be inevitable, and he can not just say "no" if he have that ambition for politics per se!

just but natural for freddie to worry more.
freddie knows and admits cotto is much different from oscar and ricky.
cotto is "a ww beast" as they say.
freddie is somehow relieved that he will get his 8 solid weeks with the champ.
