maybe pac is avoiding taxes in US lands coz he got about few weeks free to

stay as a visitor/tourist.. but it is bad for pac to train in the PI.. coz there are

    so many PI in PI....

this is bad for a great boxer mixing it with showbizhits and lots of ****ing with

    girls.

thats the whole point his training will not be normal.

hatton had a right to complain about mayweather snr i mean come on what kinda trainer shows up ate for a training session on a fight at the magnitude that the pac/hatton fight was at...but i mean really he didnt complain all that much he just said what everyone already knew...that snr was late to sessions and didnt seem like he was takin it seriously which it didnt seem like he was...but he also didnt listen to snr about moving his head and what not but l do think that he had somewhat of a right to complain about snr's training commitment

I think it's an EXCELLENT DECISION BY PACQUIAO

A lot of the people, Freddie Roach included, stating that it was a bad or ****** decision for Pacquiao to train in the Philippines haven't even considered where exactly he's training.

For the record it's in Baguio.

A lot of people here, don't know where Baguio is and what it looks like so let me paint you a picture so that you guys would have at least an idea.

Baguio is approximately a 7 hour trip from the capital, Manila.
It is a tourist destination and was used as a location for military camps by the Americans in the early part of the last century.

It is a highly mountainous region, 1,500 meters above sea level, (just about a Mile high) which means the altitude is also pretty high. So it's like he'll be training in the Mile High Arena. The weather is cool, especially at night. Comparing it to Nighttime Vegas, Vegas is around 21-26 Degrees C, Baguio hovers around 20-26 Degrees C.

Accesibility. Baguio is a tourist destination and is not easily accessible. It does not have a major airport and only small commercial crafts can use the trunkline airport. The next neares airport would be Clark Air base, About 4-5 hours away.

By road, it could also prove difficult as the streets are narrow (at most, 2 lanes for both ways, and on some parts 3 lanes, two for going up, one for going down) and practically all the streets are slopes.

You might think, "It's a tourist destination? So there are a lot of people there?"

Not exactly. September and October are not peak tourist schedules because of the possibility of rain and these are the months where there is nary a holiday around for a long weekend.

Baguio City is a secluded place. Even a well to do Filipino like me goes up there probably once every 2 to three years. The Training area where Pacquiao will be training is even more secluded and slightly away from the City.

For sure there will be people clamoring for an autograph and some people will make a drive there. But it's not as many as you think. During the weekdays, I don't think a lot of people will show up. I've read the articles about Pac training in Wild Card with a lot of people waiting for autographs after. I think that situation is even slightly more difficult.

Pac can work out in Baguio then move on to Wild Card. It's much better than going to a foreign country like Mexico, Acclimitize there, then go to another and another.

So honestly? Until I'm proven wrong when Pac does train here and he gets all distracted and ****, I'm liking it too.

That's Baguio. Now you know. Now tell me if it's a good or bad idea.
IT's definitely not like when he trained in Cebu. Cebu is the 2nd most urbanized City n the Philippines. It's almost like Manila.

            Baguio is way different.

Its Pac's choice and he better not have excuses if he losses.

Roach is just a drama queen. Roach thought Cotto was damage goods, now he bout to **** himself. I think they'll both show up healthy, focused, and ready to go. But Cotto will prevail.

Baguio is also a high urbanized city and if i am not wrong, the fourth most populated city in the Philippines. And all year round, Baguio is densely populated, summer with vacationists and tourists and wet seasons populated mostly by students. Three major roads going to Baguio is smooth and you can reach the city with convenience. Pacman is popular any place in the philippines not only in Manila, which means Baguio populations alone are more than enough of Pac distractions, much more from provinces around the city! But most of his distractions are those from influential politicians and businessmen of which could not just say no to their invitations and calls, and media following his activities.

What Pac needs is a relatively peaceful place to concentrate training and the only solution is, to stay away from Philippines for a while while training. Cotto is much serious opponent than his previous opponents. If he wanted to close his chapter with impressive ending as great fighter, he should beat Cotto and PBF before retiring!
