Support your Peep's, nothing wrong with that, but speak the truth as well when the writing is on the wall....
To be clear, my statement was never about race. It was to make a fact based argument about Canelo being biased. Canelo didn’t give any praise to Castaņo after beating Texeira and becoming world champion. Now that Castaņo has a legit belt all of a sudden he exists and is relevant to Canelo when in reality Canelo didn’t even know who Castaņo was in the first place. I do agree that Castaņo should have won that fight and a draw is not out of the question either and is deserving of an immediate rematch but boxing politics will make sure that doesn’t happen any time soon or maybe ever as there’s no telling Charlo or Castaņo will manage defending their titles.

Nobody said anything about him treating everyone the same. You’re missing the point

I absolutely love it. Canelo represents everything that is good about the sport.

And for me Brian Castano beat Jermell Charlo too. Let's insist on integrity regardless of skin color.
Wasn’t Canelo walking Davis to the ring just a rumor of the mill? Don’t believe it was ever confirmed.

I agree that Canelo has respect for the sport considering he always comes in good shape, he puts in the work basically as all athletes do minus the ones that use performance enhancers to meet that objective.

Castaņo did beat Charlo but a case can be made how a draw was reasonable and I tip my hat off to both guys for putting their belts on the line and giving the audience an entertaining fight.

Yeah, apparently. So what was the point?

interesting take, why do you think that? Many would say that someone who got popped for banned substances, someone who did vada 24/7 for Pr purposes afterwards for 1 year but then quietly discontinued doing it, someone who has been stripped of multiple titles for not facing mandatories, Someone who has been the poster boy for a side treatment from judges, belt organizations and has use that a side status to implement his own catchweight and rehydration clauses , is not necessarily representing everything that is good about the sport.

The point was Canelo comes off being biased since he doesn’t give any commendation to anyone else that is not Hispanic or Latino.

Canelo popped for a small amount of Clen that is now legal, an amount that was consistent with his explanation of eating tainted meat in Mexico.

He also just got done doing VADA testing for 3 training camps in 5 months. It's clear that the man is kicking ass while clean.

No active fighter has a better resume in the sport except for Pacquiao. Which is proof that he is challenging himself more than anybody else currently.

He has never been given a gift win on the cards when he didn't earn it or when the fight wasn't legitimately close.

And win or lose he continues to learn and improve as a fighter after every fight. Passing on what he can to the fighters in his gym.

Canelo is the face of boxing and he is an exemplary one.

Which is precisely the point that I said you were making. Why do you feel that Canelo HAS to regard all people the same? So what if he likes his fellow Latinos? What can anyone conclude from that? That he's racist somehow?

After Brian hurt Jermell, he didn’t want to exchange anymore unless he caught Brian and hurt him with a right hand. For all the talking Jermell does before and after fights, you would think he is Marvin Hagler. Hagler would have walked Brian down and beat him like he stole something and stopped him late. Jermell was fighting more to survive the latter stages of the fight until he got Brian hurt. He is no Killer or Lion like he claims to be.
