Baldomir beat the champ but it that division had a parade of champs back then. I mean Spinks became the guy for beating Mayorga who beat Forrest who was the guy.

Forrest was the champ who lost to Mayorga who fought Spinks for the undiputed title who then came short with Zab who lost to Baldomir.

Tata was the legit champ.The undisputed champ can drop belts after he becomes undisputed.

Cotto was the man, Margarito beat him... so he was the man, Mosley beat him, so he is the man.

People need to stop hanging on to this "Cotto beat Mosley so he is above him" crap, Cotto beat him in 2007... 2 years ago, a lot has changed since then.

The only real way were you can make a case of Mosley not being #1 now is by saying that Mosley has been way too inactive since his last fight... in which he loses his spot... but saying Cotto beat him 2 years ago is the wrong way to look at it.

I still don't get why Mosley is number 1 right now. Cotto beat him and like 3 other top 10 WW and all Mosley did was win one fight against a plaster less Margarito to get that spot.

Cotto beat him 2 years ago... that is way too much time ago to make judgment on it... as I said though... you can make a case of Mosley being too inactive to keep his spot.

Also, there is no proof of the plaster, that is just your opinion, which means just as much as anybodies and can't change anything in the rankings until there is proof of Margarito using it against Cotto... why can't people realize this, it isn't that hard to understand.
