As my broski Oldskoolg mentioned, you cant build stars on apps. No one here even knows what DAZN is. Im not gonna lie to yall, I was pronouncing it "DÄÄZ-N" until i heard Eddie "at hospital with Billy Joe who drove on IG a week after alleged eye surgery" Hearn pronounce it.

I personally prefer the PPV model as well, its not outdated UFC just did 2mill for McGregor - Poirier and the Pac Spence fight gonna do numbers too.
Why do I prefer the PPV model? I hate commiting to stuff, I hate giving my credit card details to some app and it charges it monthly especially when I wouldnt even watch DAZN monthly they got fights like three times a year id watch.

With a PPV you can just get together with your people and each pay a share of the PPV price, and you watch it at the houes of the guy with the biggest television screen, get your refreshments ready and enjoy the evening. (This way the PPV actually doesnt cost much at all, even with USA prices, just a tip to you)

Fk DAZN its a dead app, they dont even release subscriber numbers.

I was talking about the fighters moron not us boxing fans! DAZN has a hard salary cap which is called a guarantee. That means a fighter cannot earn any more or less money than what was originally negotiated.

However on pay-per-view. A fighter has a limitless amounts of revenue streams.

Not only do they get the guaranteed money but also a percentage of what the fight totally grosses; At the live gate, closed circuit, live streams as well as the pay-per-view buys itself; Which can run into millions more than their original guarantee.

It's the reason why legends like Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather, Jr prefer the old linear television ppv business model over the new online streaming app business model because the guarantees have a hard cap on them.

You said you want Al Haymon Not do business with Canelo
          Why?
Let the best fight the Best
Canelo can get Hearn or whoever he wants to organize the Big Fights for him regardless
Maybe it's you that should mind your business and Let Hearn do what he does best promote Big Fights
No, that's not what I said. I said it's Eddie Hearn. He shouldn't be doing business with Canelo at this time.

It's because Caleb Plant is not a DAZN fighter. In addition, all of the big names left for Canelo to fight are undefeated and just so happen to be American who fights on the PBC.

Therefore, Eddie Hearn needs to butt out of these negotiations and allow Canelo Alvarez to be the free agent that he has always wanted to be.

Eddie is trying to secretly sabotage and undermine the negotiations because he doesn't want Canelo fighting on Fox.

I’d say no he doesn’t & he’s done just fine without him

When young Edward Hearn first came to the USA he attempted to steal pbc fighters from al Haymon over to dazn. He convinced the execs at dazn that since Haymon fighters didn’t have promotional agreements that they would leave pbc and fight on app so what he did was insult as many of them as he could in hopes they tactic would force them to sign with him. It was about the worse promotional strategy I have ever seen and it of course failed miserably and “til this day” Edward Hearn is bitter at pbc because of it especially at wilder
