It’s hilarious to me that people act Caleb Plant of all people is some big PBC star & fighting one time on DAZN is going to make DAZNs subscriptions sky rocket & severely damage PBC if he loses his belt to a rival network. Nobody outside of his home town gives a shhht about Caleb Plant and once he loses that belt he’s completely irrelevant.

PBC needs Canelo more than Canelo needs PBC otherwise they wouldn’t be trying to lock him in to a 3 fight deal. If Canelo felt PBC was better for him he would have signed that deal in a heartbeat

IN BOXING it’s over saturated and dwindling which is what Hearn is referring to. UFC is a completely different market and audience. Not to mention, they have no real competition, all the biggest stars are under one banner unlike boxing where everyone is scattered across 3-4 networks/platforms

Dana White would have a stroke if the UFC did boxing PPV numbers.

PPV fighters also can get a guarantee, e.g Fury vs Wilder. Also why would Plant fight on an app when he can fight on a tv channel that people will watch getting far more exposure.

Hearn is only working with Canelo on a fight to fight basis, he’s not signed to Eddie he can walk away from him tomorrow if he wanted to. He likes doing business with Eddie but he ain’t committing to anyone

cool. The point I was making was that without Canelo, dayzin USA doesn’t sell. Hearn needs Canelo and you know that.
