No he need not step in that division at all. Hes a small guy. His power didnt follow him much at 147. His punched will bounce off at 154, like cottos punches bounced off canelo...Comment

Danny isn't even the best at 147. If not for a fluke orbital injury to Matthysse, or Crawford draining down to 135 until 140 cleared out, Danny wasn't even the best at 140. Why do they keep trying to make such bad matchups?Last edited by Boxing Logic; 07-14-2021, 03:28 PM.Comment

Everyone and their grandma at 154 is calling out Garcia. I'd give Garcia a better chance against Lubin simply because Lubin has a crap chin and Garcia has one of the best chins of the last 10 years. But he should stay away from Charlo, that is a bridge too far.Comment

Danny Garcia problem is that he just doesn't let his hands go enough. He is always looking for that no look left hook counter that he landed against Amir Khan and he has never been the same fighter since. That fight permanently scarred Danny Garcia. He can't seem change his boxing style once he steps up his level of opposition.Comment

this, he fights to survive in his big fights at welter and puts out a stinker. he was good at 140 where he still had power and size there, now at welter and above, he is small, hes slow, his power isnt the same and these other guys have reach on him. so he barely throws so that he dont leave himself open. mikey garcia pulled the same chit with spence. if you fight to survive and youre B level fighter it can be hard to get stopped if you dont open up and the other guy is happy to box you just collecting rounds. makes for a boring fightComment
