Well of course. That sounds like a Charlo. Wanting to fight a real 140 counter puncher guy with a name. He should call out the real contenders at his weight.
Danny needs to test the waters at light middle before I get on the bandwagon. His flaw is lack of activity during fights, he can be out worked. Not sure he can overcome that wilder like flaw
No he need not step in that division at all. Hes a small guy. His power didnt follow him much at 147. His punched will bounce off at 154, like cottos punches bounced off canelo...
Danny isn't even the best at 147. If not for a fluke orbital injury to Matthysse, or Crawford draining down to 135 until 140 cleared out, Danny wasn't even the best at 140. Why do they keep trying to make such bad matchups?

Everyone and their grandma at 154 is calling out Garcia. I'd give Garcia a better chance against Lubin simply because Lubin has a crap chin and Garcia has one of the best chins of the last 10 years. But he should stay away from Charlo, that is a bridge too far.
Danny Garcia problem is that he just doesn't let his hands go enough. He is always looking for that no look left hook counter that he landed against Amir Khan and he has never been the same fighter since. That fight permanently scarred Danny Garcia. He can't seem change his boxing style once he steps up his level of opposition.

Canelo has a strong chin, GGG’s punches never seemed to wobble him nor did jacobs
this, he fights to survive in his big fights at welter and puts out a stinker. he was good at 140 where he still had power and size there, now at welter and above, he is small, hes slow, his power isnt the same and these other guys have reach on him. so he barely throws so that he dont leave himself open. mikey garcia pulled the same chit with spence. if you fight to survive and youre B level fighter it can be hard to get stopped if you dont open up and the other guy is happy to box you just collecting rounds. makes for a boring fight
Thank you for saying what I was trying to say in a more clear manner.
do you actually follow boxing? At 154 he’s faced Lubin, Harrison, Rosario and is about to faces Castaņo. Who exactly should he be fighting at 154?
certainly not Danny Garcia who has lost his last 3 big fights and seeing as Garcia is pretty much done at the highest level......as for charlo and his defences they are not world beaters and charlo did lose to Harrison lol....as for his defences don’t dress them up to be top challengers.....he should be pushing for big fights if he wants to leave a mark.
Garcia should not be on Charlos radar simple as that
