Clearly Wallin is better than Fury and his people thought he was but is he really as good as people think he is because he gave Fury an awkward fight? I've yet to be convinced. I do like him though and I like this potential match up and these are the tests he now needs to prove himself

It's tough to say how good Wallin is but he has some attributes that lend me to think he'd be tricky for alot of HWs. He's tall and has length, southpaw and he seems pretty durable. He throws leather (not sure how much pop he has tho as he couldn't put away Breazeale) and his chin looks decent as well.

As for a potential Ruiz fight, stylistically Wallin is all wrong for Ruiz. There are alot of interesting matchups for the Swede within PBC so let's hope something gets made that allows us to have a clear idea where he stands.

I'm guessing Hunter's stock is still high based off of Bakole and Kuzmin victories (and they were a bit ago). I'm a Hunter fan but I'm not happy about the Wilson fight. It's pointless (much like his last fight). He claims to be making a business decision and maybe he's making money off of it from Triller but it does nothing for me as a fan.

Ruiz will follow the the matchroom Heavyweight model in fighting the oldest names possible.

Whytes last 3 fights & especially Ajs resume (4 of last 6 opponents) have been shot 38-41 year old men of the former generation. This is the way but upto 36 maybe, after that they've only 5 good rounds in them, it's nothing but a casuals money grabbing con.

Why should Ruiz do any different? Offer all of Pov, Pulev, Wach, Takem, Ortiz a cheque & see who bites.

Joshua's opponents were mando's, fully agree with what your saying about Whyte's last few opponents but with AJ, he had to fight those guys, wasn't anything to with picking guys that age, and now usyk is his Mando and he has to face him, it's not a case of him picking shot fighters

That would be a fun fight (if it ever gets made). I'd go with Wallin, he's clever defensively and should make it difficult for Ruiz to get close enough to fire off enough combos to win. I dunno whether he'd be able to do it by KO, though, Ruiz's tough. I could see him getting a KD maybe.
