What's good for the goose is good for the gander.
Ruiz will follow the the matchroom Heavyweight model in fighting the oldest names possible.

Whytes last 3 fights & especially Ajs resume (4 of last 6 opponents) have been shot 38-41 year old men of the former generation. This is the way but upto 36 maybe, after that they've only 5 good rounds in them, it's nothing but a casuals money grabbing con.

Why should Ruiz do any different? Offer all of Pov, Pulev, Wach, Takem, Ortiz a cheque & see who bites.

Ah I see Haymon didn't tell you AJ already fought Whyte, Ruiz, Parker etc
Whyte already fought AJ, Rivas, Parker etc

Young one, old ones .. are they good.

As soon as Whyte suggested Franklin the US was why doesn't he fight Ortiz .. we'll because he's get **** for fighting an old man.

Sorry only the PBC prop Ortiz up for another beating and while you're at it look on boxrec who Wilder was fighting at the same number of fights as AJ or Whyte.

We should just dump the PBC out they never fight anyone anyway leave Top RAnk, Matchroom GBP etc.

Yep the joung prospects are usually avoided, even when ranked high. There are now plenty (wallin, yoka, ajagba, sanchez, Hrgovic to name a few). With this peace they won't ever get a chance.

I have Wallin in that fight. Kids like a heavyweight Danny Garcia, does nothing spectacular but all skills are equal so that he’s an effective boxer

Ruiz is not a matchroom fighter he's pbc so I think he's more likely to follow their model which is guys like Cojanu,Martz, Flores and Hammer (just check out Ortiz record ) lmao.Think I'd prefer the matchroom model. Those 38-41 year olds were still top 10 and some of the best in division which is why AJs resume is 2nd to none.

Clearly Wallin is better than Fury and his people thought he was but is he really as good as people think he is because he gave Fury an awkward fight? I've yet to be convinced. I do like him though and I like this potential match up and these are the tests he now needs to prove himself

Stylistically a bad match up for Ruiz. I cannot see them ever going for this.

I'm still not sure about Wallin. He's got more skills than Breazeale and he's got less skills than Fury, which doesn't tell me all that much. I'd be happy to see Wallin vs Ruiz, but this just sounds like the promoter throwing something out there rather than any kind of even formative plan.
