Eddie hearn contacted Whyte and asked him if he would be willing to step in July 24 and he said ******* to right he would. So step to it WBC. Make the order. It's a great fight and we need something as to many good fights not happening. As long as fury gets first crack at the winner all is good

This is Eddie Hearn talking through Dillian Whyte. There's nothing more that Eddie would love than to get his hands on that WBC Heavweight title belt
Personally, I am all for it. I would like to see Deontay Wilder back in the ring again. So please make it happen ASAP. I want to see some of Wilder's new moves in the ring anyhow. It's a shame that it will be close to two years (20 months) before Fury ever made a title defense of his WBC Heavyweight title belt.Comment

However, I do agree with Eddie Hearn in principle. The WBC needs to put their foot down and tell Tyson Fury no more. October 9th is your last chance. If you fail to meet the WBC's requirements then they reserve the right to strip you of their title.
These type of antics have to stop. This is not the first time that Tyson has pulled similar shenanigans as this. He pulled out of the Klitschko rematch citing wild boar meat and mental illness. The man simply does not like to do rematches or defend his titles.Comment

It’s bad enough that organizations have handed over titles to fighters who haven’t truly earned it, but to be a boxer and actually advocate that an organization just make you champion because the actual champion has COVID is lame.Comment

But then NSB will turn on you and call you "email champion", Dillian. The WBC should make Fury champion in recess like they did Devin HaneyComment

Do I hear a dog barking? If your promoter has any yank, he is supposed to make these things happen. Arum makes alphabets dance. So does PBC.Last edited by VislorTurlough; 07-10-2021, 08:09 AM.Comment

If the WBC wasn't corrupt, that's what they would do. Fans are so blinded by their dislike of Whyte/Matchroom to see that the WBC shouldn't be tied up with Fury/Wilder's ongoing drama. Wilder is supposed to get a rematch, but it doesn't have to be for a title.
Also, Wilder/Whyte is an easy sell. Both are loudmouths who love the sound of their voice, and a face-off between them would be GOLD.Last edited by kiaba360; 07-10-2021, 08:24 AM.Comment
