In context....During Floyd's prime, Roy was the P4P king, not Floyd... wrap your head around that!
Ppl forget how shocking Tarver beating Roy was

Tarver losing by controversial close md was shocking

Tarver the #1 contender in the division

Tarver a huge, skilled Light Heavyweight

roy was so good that Tarver losing close to an aging roy was shocking and controversial

Its like ppl didn't expect anyone to be competitive

I wish he would've fought Eubank, Benn and the Irish dude, Collins.

What do you mean when you say "world level"? I've always taken it to mean a guy who's in the top 10-15 in the world in his weight class. That would make them world level to me. What is your definition, or what are the requirements for a fighter to be "world level"?

              They Musta Forgot , Roy.
We are all frustrated that they haven't made this fight. He's wrong about who has fought the better opposition. It's not even close. Being associated with Top Rank has really stifled Crawfords career.

How are Garcia and Porter NOT at World Level ? They surely aren't regional fighters.

What's your criteria for World Level ? I'm thinking that it might be different than everyone else's.

Spence could learn from Roy Jones Jr. While Jones is known in the boxing world, he is not a household name like Ali, Tyson, Floyd, etc..

And the reason is he never fought, Benn, Julian Jackson, McClellan

Or Calzaghe, or Hopkins (in a rematch) when he was in his prime.

Roy Jones was easily in my top 10, until he lost against Tarver in a 3rd match (he lost his heart in that fight), and afterwards. He's now only in my top 50. His stock dropped big time. And while Crawford's stock is lower than Spence's, Spence could learn from the mistakes of Roy Jones Jr. If he beats Pacquiao, he must demand that his next fight is with Crawford.

Roy is spot on here, these two should be fighting one another and it seems like neither want it. It's frustrating.

That's because he called the shots when he was the P4P #1 fighter in the world and when guys wanted to dictate terms to him, he wasn't having that and rightfully so. And Roy fought 3 of the 5 best fighters aside from himself in his era and the other two wanted none of that.
