Was Nakatani really a competitive threat for Loma, or was he just a confidence builder for Loma? Let’s not fool ourselves. Loma’s good but I don’t like predetermined conclusions. That’s toprank for you

For most neutral boxing fans, the bold is also true.

And to answer the thread title directly, nobody is waiting to see Lopez-Loma. I think this whole rematch thing will also be an afterthought after a couple of weeks, when all dies down. Loma, with really nothing to bring to the table, will be waiting for a long time to land a marque fight like Davis. The biggest fight Loma can get for now is Haney, with his little belt.

As some Loma fans say, he's a tiny featherweight who can easily fight at 126 or 130, Valdez is a fight he can maybe win.

That be great fight and a 50-50 one at that. Let's be honest here as well,he pulled out of "talks" with Tank because he sincerely felt he was going to land that Pac exhibition or whatever you want to call it. Any boxer with any smarts would've taken that option had it presented itself. At this point Tank needs to get in there with anyone credible from here on out though, these blatant mismatches are getting tiresome.

If Teo doesn't give Loma a deserving rematch lets at least get
            Loma vs Tank.

Yeah some fans as well as the guys at the top at 135 just want Loma to fade away but he is still the most skilled (Yes even more so than Haney you Haney Groupies). Loma is not the type of fighter you want to have to fight a second time, he will have adjustments for Teofimo. Either he figures Teofimo out which he did Second have of that fight and that carries on into the rematch or this time Teofimo clips and stops him which he too has the talent and ability to do

Fight was Close...much Closer than Julie Lederman scored it that is for sure and it is worth a rematch. Good Rivals and Trilogies are GREAT for the sport of boxing! So I'm rooting for Loma in the rematch to get his revenge but also too Teofimo and his Father could use a slice of Humble Pie. They went Full DIVA on the fans as of LATE with all this crazy stuff how fight with Kambosos will do 2 Million Buys and how they're this big A Side all of a sudden and also how the Haney situation is being handled

They Ran back to Bob and re-signed because I honestly don't think that Triller situation is looking as good as they thought it would when they first signed especially with Tyson and Jake Paul leaving Triller

To be honest, I'm not too hype on the rematch. Not sure it really proves anything (at least to me) regardless of who wins. I'd rather see Teo in against other fighters and the same for Loma.
The fact that Teo reconnected with Arum recently tells me there are possibly plans going on.

If Teo doesn't take this, he is just a chicken.
I think Loma wins a rematch if it happens, but calling Lopez a coward for not taking the rematch is a stretch. Lopez put it all on the line against Lomachenko when everyone else was dancing around the subject of fighting him. Lopez proved his worth, and straight up beat the brakes off the disputed P4P king at the time. Sure, Loma made it easy by not bothering to box until the fight was already decided, but honestly I feel Lopez owes no one anything. Lomachenko needs the rematch, not Lopez. If he moves up, it is Lomachenko's loss.
