To be honest, I'm not too hype on the rematch. Not sure it really proves anything (at least to me) regardless of who wins. I'd rather see Teo in against other fighters and the same for Loma.
Does make you think that the fight has been in the works for awhile. especially with Teo re-signing with Top Rank. I bet ESPN wants him back too. Any of his potential match ups could be a blockbuster. Definitely has star potential. And as much as I want to see them both fight the other top contenders, they do have unfinished business and Loma is getting up there in age and no one wants to fight him. Rematch makes perfect sense

Yes, Lomachenko has to start earlier and better to win. I give him a 50% chance to beat Teofimo in the rematch because I believe he is smart enough to make adjustments. Great fighters lose and come back to win so the rematch would be a great yardstick to measurer his greatness..

Lopez has Loma's number. Loma will always be wary of Lopez' power and fight tentative like he did the last time. If Nakatani had continued attacking Loma's body this fight would have been closer. We need to stop pretending like Nakatani is a top killer in boxing.

We shall see. Let's see if Teo gives him the rematch and then we will talk. Loma by Ko against Teo Fluke Lopez

By that first fight? Impossible. Teo won for sure. No way does that show he has his number. He did make Loma hesitant to engage due strictly to his size. But Teo did nothing impressive in that fight with the exception of having Lomachenko's respect from the opening bell. He definitely didn't dominate? He's not eager to sign the contract to try and win more convincingly either..

I haven't heard anyone describe Nakatani as a killer. He's had three notable fights to tell us exactly who he is and isn't. His fight against Teo, Verdejo and Loma. He's a big, durable, come forward fighter with basic skills who isn't fast but has some pop. His game can exploit some and be exposed by others. I also think Loma fought a compromised version of Nakatani; his face had been broken in his previous two fights. Loma was always going to feast on Nakatani but he was also able to take advantage of that previous damage.

Yes, styles make fight. Lopez fought Loma at a range where Loma is uncomfortable. At any given time Loma was at the edge of Lopez's power. Loma's best bet was to get inside and rough him up, but Lopez also proved that he can fight on the inside and also he's the stronger man. I dont know how Loma is going to win that fight, because it is not like he has one punch power. That shoulder injury is just pure nonsense. He was neutralized by Lopez' size, strength, speed and ring IQ. The only weakness on Lopez was that he was gassing during the second half of the fight and this allowed Loma back into the fight where he was able to get closer and land some punches.

Fella still salty about teo's victory over Loma.......if I'm teo I'd rematch Loma only if he admits he actually lost the first fight

The funny thing is, the 12th round is still part of the second half, and Loma was totally outclassed in the 12th

Sadly Lopez seems to be a p*ssy and won't rematch Lomachenko.
