Sho Ya Right! He didn't want the work from Devin Haney. The fights that would like to see are Haney vs Lopez and then Tank vs Ryan Garcia.

Haney has been wanting to fight Lomachenko for a long time. Is was Lomachenko that gave up the WBC belt to not fight Haney. Don't try to rewrite history.

Yeah, we get it. He ducked feather fisted boxing god Haney to fight walk over paper champ Teo Lopez.

Haney also said that "Loma is out, Teo beat him. I don't need to fight him"

then proceeded to fight Gamboa and Linares.

Wherever he ducked him or not you can't say Haney wasn't interested before. That's just not true.

You're also taking that out of context. He said Lomachenko didn't give him his shot so he wasn't obligated to give Lomachenko one. Bottom line is yourl can't excuse Lomachenko for dropping his belt to avoid his mandatory and blame Haney for it.

He avoided fighting Haney because a loss would jeopardize the Teo fight, which was the biggest payday of his career.

that is a financial decision many pros and their management make.

Why would Loma not make a similar financial decision?

People seem to have short memories. Loma fought Lopez because it was an in-house fight for Top Rank and Arum wanted to shut the mouth of this kid who was calling out one of his stars. Even if the worse case eventuated, which it did, the winner would still be a Top Rank fighter. Bob didn't want Loma to fight Haney as he was bigger, fresher and posed a risk to his fighter. The Haney fight at that time would have been a bigger fight than the Lopez fight however, Bob would not risk his fighter losing to a Matchroom fighter so even when Teo raised a stink about the purses Bob gave in and paid him more.

The key thing about the Teo/Loma fight is that it was made to elevate Loma to the PPV ranks and ensure the winner was a Top Rank fighter. People forget that in the Teo fight, Loma was the OVERWHELMING favorite. Teo wasn't meant to win but when he did, the winner was still a Top Rank fighter. Bob is as bad as Haymon when it comes to avoiding fights outside his stable.

Loma dropped the belt to Haney simply and got elevated to franchise champion simply because Bob did not want to run the risk of Loma losing to a non-Top Rank fighter. The rewriting of history after Loma's loss to Teo is simply bull.

                      Don't move the goalposts.

You said Haney wasn't interested in fighting Lomachenko. That's obviously not true if Haney moved himself into position to be his mando.
