Let's be honest here, the only reason he is making the jump to 140 is because he is too fat and undisciplined to get down to 130 or 135. He was working his ass off in this training camp just to make 140. With the WBA Regular title and their ranking system, that put Barrios at the top. I think Prograis would have been a tougher fight, but it is what it is. I don't see where Tank goes after this. He won't beat Taylor, and doesn't want Teo or Loma. Does he dare to squeeze down to 135 for Haney?

Gervonta Davis cannot beat Josh Taylor.

”best fighter in boxing” and not on any p4p list…go figure. Could it b the level of competition and no wins against any legit champ or top elite fighter.

Did you watch the fight where Barrios won a fake WBA title while losing 8 rounds?

            He sucks.

I noticed over the last 15 years posting here, that many fans don’t even know what a bad or cherrypicked opponent really is.

Sh/t to be honest i’m starting to lean more to the “Tank is biting off more than he could chew” side.

Tough fight? Like the article states - with the exception of size..which Barrios does not use..Davis has all the advantages…hence the 4-1 odds. Everyone wants to say “tough fight or risky fight” for Davis…Barrios b-level and not a legit champ amd will never b one..he does nothing special. Davis has the elite skills..will get the recognition and cred wen he fights and wins a 50/50 and risks that 0 for once.

Did you watch Barrios get his ass kicked while challenging for a fake wba title only to win via robbery?

It’s probably worse for tank because he’s associated with Mayweather promotions as well.

Davis has to get inside to win the fight against the taller, longer Barrios. Akhmedov had success with constant pressure against Barrios but he took a lot of punishment coming in. I see Davis also applying constant pressure and eventually winning by a late KO.
