I remember Canelo formally inviting both Paul brothers to his gym. He offered to “teach them boxing”, crazy how neither of them took him up on that offer, but then again... we all know why they didn’t! Jake is clearly telling us he’s never taking that beating unless it’s for ridiculous money, or atleast enough for him to disappear into oblivion!

I've never been a Canelo fan, but I don't dislike him for picking and choosing his opponents to make history and get paid big money, but if he does fight Jake Paul, it'll be his biggest Payday in sport's history no matter where the fight is held, and it won't affect his record...easy money and easiest fight for Canelo...can't hate! Hell, he might like it so much, he'll quit boxing and fight all YouTubers and Tic Toc'ers, and keep making all that cash

Canelo respects the sport of boxing and it's something he takes so seriously. I doubt Canelo would entertain this circus but I'd like him to just so that he seriously hurts Jake and puts an end to these joke fights.

And that alone will make people pluck down a ton of money just to see canelo slaughter him. And watch canelo do a complete 180 and say he only doing it to get rid of them for the sport of boxing but lining his pockets in the process.

Silly question but isn't Jake Paul quite a bit heavier then 168? He is talking about fighting for Canelo's belts which from what I recall would mean he has to shed quite a bit of weight. I thought he is in the 200lb range.

Before you retire yes! What else was Ali supposed to do? He couldn't get licensed to box professionally anywhere else except in an exhibition bout.
