Naka is top 10 in all sanctioning bodies, on BoxRec, and in Ring magazine. Given Loma is coming off a surgery and the most notable loss of his career, I also agree that Naka is an acceptable opponent.

Only thing you got right is that he said:"Tank is a beast." Seems like Loma respects Tanks power. But in no way did he say anything about Tank being the best of the division. So maybe your memory is not good or you are adding things to fit your narative.
They have more than a few interviews together. What's my agenda for defending Loma on here?

At the very least, for his own credibility, he should have aggressively called out another champion. He's relegating himself to 2nd-tier challenger for no good reason. Lomachenko is supposedly a surefire, first-ballot HOFer (to some a potential ATG) so every fight for the rest of his career should be significant. He's lost his confidence.
If all he needs to do for credibility is call out some lightweights to look good for the fans, even if the fight can’t be made, then he might as well call out Tyson Fury. I mean if you’re going to BS the fans and call out fighters you won’t actually get. Might as well call out Canelo, Fury, Beterbiev. Start talking crazy for the fans. If that’s the point.

I like Davis and I follow his career but Davis moved up to 140lbs. His next fight is at 140. Also don’t forget Arum/Lomachenko already called out Davis. Mayweather rejected that fight for him. So idk why would any one mention him. Lomachenko/Arum can’t force Mayweather to give them Tank. Tank himself, from his own mouth, said a Lomachenko fight can happen in 2022. Lastly, Tank’s trainer said he needs more experience before he fights Lomachenko. Lomachenko needing to fight Tank should not be a serious discussion at all.

No reason for Lomachenko to keep calling out Tank when Mayweather will just keep rejecting that fight.

Names were provided. Loma didn't even pause too long before saying Gervonta Davis, then adding: "Tank is a beast." Most people on here saw it.

When did Davis become not a part of the lightweights? Or is that something you are making up?
He moved up to 140. He can’t make 135 anymore.

I look forward to Loma beating Nakatani in impressive fashion, then moving on to bigger and better. This guy should only be fighting top-shelf elite fighters. If he wants to make a serious claim at being regarded as an ATG, its not enough to fight 2nd-tier contenders and belt holders. He has a lot of real competition at 130-135, and he doesn't have many years left in the game.

What? Dude's cheeks weigh 20lbs each FFS. He can make LW.

Did he vacate any division officially yet? So that answer is incorrect.

He is literally scheduled to fight at 140lbs vs Barrios. He is not going back to 135. He has been having issues making weight for 130-135. He’s inconsistent with it. It’s not even wise for him to try to keep making 135. Besides almost everyone at 135 now, the top guys, don’t even have a long time left at 135.

So why is his next fight at 140lbs?

Why not call out someone from 130-135?

Why move up to 140 if he can make LW?

He’s so good at making weight, yet he’s missed weight a couple times already. When he missed 130lbs, it was time for him to move up. He missed weight at 135, in his first fight at 135.
