I just watched the "Reloaded" and I don't like that Loma and his manager are blaming the loss on the shoulder and saying Teo wasn't landing. Teo definitely was landing but I give Loma credit for saying he lost the 12th round.

So why mention him as someone Lomachenko should call out again? You can say Lomachenko needs to fight him but you can’t force Davis in the ring with him. If they are saying no, there’s nothing fans can do. Certainly not blame Lomachenko for it, who already tried to get him.

Ok so first to address the Salido myth narrative. Salido in no way shape or form won that fight with loma. Yes he bullied him but nothing landed clean. He should have been deducted or disqualified for the low blows. Worse than Golota vs Bowe or Ward vs Kovalev. And yes Ward did cheat. Secondly Loma has only had 17 bouts. Let me repeat that. 17 bouts. His resume for just 17 bouts and number of titles is nothing short of astonishing and puts anyone I can think of as a 40 year boxing fan into shade. Russell junior, Martinez, Walters, Sosa, Rigondeaux, Linares, Campbell. And the WBC inventing their own mental rules by inventing Franchise bull **** means nothing. Loma was undisputed just like Lopez is. And regarding Lopez. He’s the most natural attacking fighter I’ve seen since Pacquiao. He didn’t beat Loma in the first half of the fight due to any slow start by Loma or bad shoulder. He beat him because Loma knew if he pushed it he would be ****** out. Any other fighter can see that. Any other narrative is usually from people who don’t understand boxing properly.BaguMka likes this.

i like nakatani in this one, he gets the wildcard. came outta nowhere gave teo a better than expected fight. bounced back big time against verdejo as +350 underdog and now we here. loma on the other hand could be showing early signs of decline. i said "COULD BE" .... dropped by linares, couldnt shine against campbell and couldnt pull the trigger against teo till too late. nakatani at 5'11 got the height and reach and that bushido mentality. im sure one of his ancestors was a kamikaze pilot at pearl harbor. this could be the crossroads for loma and he dont even know it. currently nakatani is a +800 im pickin him to win by late round tko.....lol is that a good enough bettin fight for ya?

Nakatani is a handpicked opponent. He looked okay against Teofimo when Teofimo had an off night. And let's face it Felix Verdejo's biggest bouts have been outside the ring. When he faced Nakatani, it became apparent quickly that Verdejo, being a one dimensional fighter, was tiring, trying to survive, and heading towards being stopped. Nakatani is a contender at best. Loma should run through him. Please don't act like Loma is back on top after this eventual victory. Please!

Yes about five so it is not that hard to point out where Loma is saying Tank is the best?
The post I was reacting to was not about you defending Loma but rather about you claiming Loma said he wants to fight Davis because he is the best, he is beast.
Of course it is hard to judge why is a person doing something generally and on boxing forum, but it seems to me you were using Lomas alleged words to legitimize your ranking of Davis on the top of the division. All I am saying is that your memory is wrong or you were straight up lying.

He's fighting in the one of the hottest divisions in the sport right now, one that is chock full of big names. Why not go after a champion or a better name? Loma doesn't have time to rebuild slowly, unless this is a confidence thing for him. It's odd to me that he thinks that beating Nakatani more convincingly than Lopez did will somehow demonstrate that he's better than Lopez. Only way to prove that is to beat Lopez, which he didn't and probably will hever have the chance to do again. Loma is a great fighter, but he will never be widely regarded as an ATG in the sport. He **** the bed in the most important fight of his career. He is a generational boxing talent, but he's shown himself to be something less than an ATG fighter.
