Fury is the guy at the top at the moment.
Till Fury fights AJ we have no idea who of the two is the top dog at the moment. What we do know is that AJ is one who is eager to settle that discussion once and for all.

Btw, I know wilder is not the best fighter out there, far from it, but that's why he's so intriguing. He's a cruiserweight KO'n much bigger HW. With his limited skillset he's been able to achieve so much, which is remarkable and why I cheer for him.
If you don't give space to swing that right hand he's nothing but C-evel fighter. He's got no defence and walks back in a straight line. AJ with his inside game, power and combination will destroy him. Wilder and Al know this.

I'll prove it; when Kell Brooks fought possibly the hardest puncher in boxing P4P in GGG, he never went down, even with a broken eye socket. Truly fought to the end (corner stoppage) when he fought Spence in his next fight, yes he was taking a beating, but he was arguably winning the fight, yet decided to take a knee and give up in the corner. This happens plenty of times in boxing. Once you've lost, it's somehow easier to lose again.
Of course a loss does take something from a fighter's confident and punch resistance, it's a mental issue. But true elite champions can take a loss , regroup mentally, make an adjustment and continue their winning streak.

See AJ, he had the mental strength to rematch immediately. But he had to adjust. In the first Ruiz fight AJ was fighting to Ruiz's strength, in the pocket, and got caught with a left hook to the temple (not his chin) and concussed and lost the fight. In the rematch he fought to his own strength, using his advantages, reach and atleticism and revenged his lone loss.

At that time he would have been an idiot to have signed such a deal. In addition no one is a “coward” there tough guy; not AJ, not Wilder, not Fury. That’s fan boi hero worship talk. NO BOXER who laces them up and steps into a ring risking their lives every second is a “coward.” GTFO here with that bulls h i t talk.
Stop making up story. Wilder himself admitted he ducked AJ. Till then Wilder had never made more than $15m per fight. Now you're saying $120m for two or three fights is too little. Any sense you can make out off this is that Wilder was too scared to fight AJ. period.

Wilder is dangerous against anybody because of that one punch power, but hes also very vulnerable himself and has an extremely padded record in comparison to AJ. Joshua would be the 2nd most skilled boxer Wilder would have faced in 40+ fights as well as the biggest puncher.

Wilder's career is one big comb over.

The Hearn/Joshua 'offer' came in at 15m around 10/15% of the pot , they knew as everyone did it was so there would be no fight and they were correct. Tyson came in unfit and over weight and made a deal ....the rest is history.
