    Didnt Pac Fight JMM "Twice"?

Thats the part I dont get. Everyone is throwng out all these numbers and talking about who is the bigger name and so on but people act like Pac never fought JMM. Not only did he fight him but he fought him twice and what were the numbers for those fights? Thats how you judge who is bigger. You cant just go fight for fight because we all know that Pac-Cotto is a bigger fight than Floyd-JMM. Even the most die hard fan would admit that. The fact is that no matter what Floyd-JMM does, it will definatly own what Pac-JMM did and I bet that it atleast beats in one fight what they did in 2 fights. Thats how you judge. How are people going to act like that dont matter and act like one guy should sell more than the other, even in a smaller fight. The facts are that both Pac & Floyd fought Hatton & Oscar and Floyd doubled him in the numbers. The fact is that he will probably sell more with JMM then Pac did in 2 fights. How can anyone dispute that and act like it doesnt matter?

You also have to take into account media perception. Dont act like that holds no water. I mean you have the media saying one fight is one of the best fights ever and the other fight is a joke fight. You guys think that doesnt matter and its fair to Floyd when it comes to sales? That is definatly going to tilt the scales. What if the media were saying that Floyd-JMM was a super super fight and Pac-Cotto was a joke? You think that wouldnt have any effect. The fact is that people want this fight to fail, they want Floyd to fail, and they want Pac to outdo Floyd but one way or another, the score will soon be settled. Pac will either lose to Cotto or he will meet Floyd in the next fight and then thats when there can be no more shifting of anything. One man will be on top at the end of the night and you will have to give him his props in every single aspect

That is true, Mayweather vs JMM will do alot better then Pacquiao vs JMM II. Then again, we gotta remember ; Pacquiao is bigger after beating both Hatton and DLH. The thing is, no one sees this as a competitive fight. Goes to show, Mayweather is held to a very high standard.

Come on Dom, May choose this fight. Its not like he couldn't have fought any other fighter in or around his division.

He could have faced Berto, Collazo, Quintana but facing Marquez would spark more interest and Marquez being Mayweather's opponent is more due to Mayweather trying to get back at Pacquiao.

These are some of the things that bother me about Floyd. First, he said he was coming back to cement his legacy, not for money. This fight is a blatant and obvious prelude to a Pac-Floyd mega pay day. Second, what is he trying to get back at Pac for? I'd have more respect for him if he came back and stormed the WW division and made Pac come to him instead of always chasing the money.

I know your opinion differs from mine, but I still respect it. These things drive me crazy though.
