I’ve always favored Charlo over Derev. Now, true Derevynchenko is a pressure fighter but he didn’t have enough power to keep Mall off. He was fresh off a war and a knockdown with GGG and still managed to give Charlo a tough fight and hurt him to the body. GGG has way more power than Derev and is smarter using his pressure. As for the Jab theory, GGG has a better Jab than Charlo.

Charlo looked very vulnerable multiple times towards the second half. Makes me wonder what would have happened if he faced Munguia. Munguia has improved significantly from his past performances.

GGG looked bad against Sergey because he stood in the pocket ignoring the fact that Sergey targets head and body and constantly pivots away from danger. Charlo used his size to fight cautiously behind the jab against Sergey. Golovkin's power, punch selection and IQ would be way too much for Charlo.- he will utilize feints and will show Charlo different angles as well as timing him with the power jab.
