There is definitely a reason why so many have refused to go elsewhere.
Regarding Crawford, I think everyone just needs to realise that he isn’t interested in making big fights. Spence has been on a tear of the top welterweights
Exactly, Crawford is very much comfortable with this situation. Might be because some folks are calling him the #1 p4p so he might feel that he doesn't need to prove anything anymore. So he's content fighting opponents he knows forehand can defeat.

Crawford Could Face Prograis, Ramirez Or Zepeda Next – Says Bob Arum
        June 16, 2021
        By Chris Williams

By Chris Williams: Bob Arum says he’s considering matching Terence Crawford up against one of the top 140-pounders in his next fight. Crawford (37-0, 28 KOs) hasn’t defended his WBO welterweight title since last November when he beat Kell Brook...

“There are a lot of guys that he can fight that are interested,” said Bob Arum to Fighthub about Terence Crawford’s next fight.

“There are a lot of 140-pounders that would want to go up to 147 like maybe [Jose] Ramirez, maybe [Regis] Prograis, and maybe another a number of guys we’ve been talking to. Maybe [Jose] Zepeda would be a hell of a fight,” said Arum.

        Really Bob? Jose Zepreda???

Crawford vs Spence will be nearly the last fight of their careers. I'm guessing it goes down in 2023.

More likely it’ll be Thurman Pence 2022. No way PBC and TR can work together on this. No way Jose!

If Spence continues to fight good fighters like Canelo did and like Benavides and Tank and Taylor are doing, he's going to become an Elite fighter, much respect for Spence stepping up.

One thing I can say about Bob if he likes you and you can swim to the top, it’s up to you at that point to jump ship like others and become a bigger success. Example: if Floyd would have stayed would he had achieved the same financial greatness; hell no! Top Rank is a good platform but don’t allow it to be slave ownership that’s all I’m saying.

Spence's response: "Danny Garcia because I'm already fighting him next anyway, and then Manny Pacquiao and Terence Crawford in that order"

Guess what? He fought Danny Garcia, and now if fighting Manny Pacquiao.

Lol, everytbing he said he wanted to do is exactly what he is doing, and it hurts you so damn much its making you salty AF.
This is the correct answer and has been for many years with Spence.

Every single person he's said he wants to fight, he has lined up and fought and beat them at some point when the other side comes to terms.

He's doing what Crawford only talks about doing.

That's why I keep saying Crawford should just accept B-Side if he thinks he could beat Spence - because it would literally SKYROCKET him if he could topple Spence at this point and wouldn't really hurt him that much if he lost. That's how much higher Spence is in the totem.

In fact, I would argue that just being across from Spence and putting in a hell of a performance, win-lose-draw, would actually help Crawford's numbers.

Golovkin was the same thing, he became an A-Side after losing to Canelo just because he was in there with a strong-drawing A-Side that gave him wider audience exposure.

I'm sick to death even hearing about Crawford vs Spence. If it happens AWESOME if it dont that's no shocker. The constant babbling about if or when is tiring.
