I agree Tank does get hit too much. However, if he ever knew how to move his head from side to side in order to avoid getting hit and dodging punches then he could easily be a ranked among the best P4P fighters in the world.

Something about this fight doesn’t appeal to me at all. And now that I think about it, I’m completely disinterested in Gervonta Davis at this point.

what is that based on though? he hasnt fought anyone very good. its been the most careful matchmaking ever. even softer than broner and berto.

Tank is the best dam fighter at 135 since Pernell Whitaker and notice I didn’t say Floyd because Sweet Pea was the truth at 135 and would have given anyone hell including Duran, but Tank can make us all believers if he just get somewhere and stay planted. I honestly believe the best weight for him will be 135 without killing himself to cut weight, after walking around as a middleweight.

Admittedly, Haney looked really bad after getting tagged but tagging Haney is no small feat.
You saw what Linares did to Haney! Linares is 35 years old w/ 53 fights! Haney is not ready for Tank or Teofimo! Barrios can ****, and he's a big dude @ 140! He's 5'10, and 17 KOs in 26 fights! Haney couldn't stop 38 year old Gamboa! I don't know why Barrios is getting so much hate? Even in his poor performance, he dropped Akhmedov twice! He's a much more formidable foe @ 140, than Haney @ 135! I would not have said this before the Linares fight! Haney needs KingRy! Haney needs to stay far way from 140! Very far!

The man's power is no fluke. He can hit. If he could somehow duck under the larger opponent's punches to get inside of his punching range then he could be very difficult to beat. Just like a Roberto Duran or Mike Tyson type of fighter.

I suspect this is it. If he fights Prograis or Ramirez or Taylor, I'll doff my cap to him. It just looks a little suspect that there are a bunch of very good fighters at 135 that he has conveniently skipped over to take on Barrios.

Its moot because tank won't fight any of the top 140 guys but Ramirez would beat him up , Taylor would pulverise him and Prograis would take his head off .

Yeah Taylor too big, we seen WTF happened with Prograis and Prograis can punch as well and he is bigger than Tank

Lets see what Tank does vs Barrios, people overlooking Barrios but that kid is huge and he does have some Pop

I gotta respectfully disagree. Barrios has KOs against fighters like Ryan Cowboy Karl and Eudy Bernardo. He was very, very fortunate to get a win against the only notable opponent he fought. He has decent size but he doesn't really use it.

Linares is shopworn but he's still a skilled fighter with decent pop, he's just less durable than he was before. Haney didn't have the power to take advantage of that.

I'm not a fan of Haney but style matchups do matter as do actual skills. Barrios is a tough, limited fighter. Haney still has to answer his doubters but he is a skilled boxer. I like Tank but he and his team have disappointed me with most of their matchmaking since the Pedraza fight.
