Right now I'm looking at him that he is one of those guys who can box, but it's questionable if he can really fight. Tremendous reflex though, some of the best.
Not seeing many fluid combinations or improvising, or what he can/will do when things breakdown. I thought this guy stayed on top of him pretty well, the right hand to the body had an effect on SS, pushing him back and manuvering him around...he got him to the corner and only had a couple of sequences where he tried with some volume and I thought it looked decent. Nikitinia just not very good but he was in decent positions at times I thought
At that distance, I think SS felt like the guy was in his space and he was threatened and will not open up when he feels that. If he;s not gonna open up when a guy is right there, and that guy is better than nikitina, SS could find himself in some stressful situations.
Haney got knocked for his last performance but I think eh showed he can fight at an accelerated pace
When you are so much more above class than someone your supposed to let it be known and get em out of there. Now Shakur doesnt cause either he cant or he wont but neither of those reasoning really matter the fact is he doesnt.
But hopefully he learns sooner than later cause one of these subpar oppenents he supposed to wash and get out of there asap but he doesnt gonna headbutt him, cut him and THAT can have lasting effects on your career.
Look at last night, he ended up with a welt under his eye, now that welt is gonna come out easier and easier in every fight from now on.
