True but the sad reality is most of these networks in America don’t want to invest in female boxing. They are cheaper but when you have a high maintenance boxer like Shield then the network would not bother until she is a bigger name.

I hope that Clarissa Shields knows what she is doing by not embarrassing herself. The first thing that these MMA fighters likes to do against a boxer is to dive at their legs to bring them to the ground. So they can either pound and ground or implement some type submission hold or a lock on them. Under those circumstances, the boxer doesn't stand a chance.

Honestly she could potentially do okay for herself. Shes young and athletic, and the talent pool for womens MMA is poor. Theres only a tiny handful of real killers in it, we are talking count on your hands amounts. And the UFC would probably already let her in with 4-5 fights worth of experience.

Fair play to her for giving it a go either way.
