I seen them both fight. However, if they were to rumble I will have to go with Haney over Lopez. Lopez did not impress me in his victory over Lomachenko. It's not so much what he did but what Vasiliy didn't do which was to engage and fight. He never cut the ring off on Loma. Haney would out point him with his jabs, faster hands, combination punching and defense.

Often, heavy handed offensive fighters impress us more against inferior opposition than those that are skilled boxers or defensive oriented.

Both Haney and Lopez fought Mason Menard but Teo's stoppage of him was much more impressive and dominant. This does not necessarily mean that Lopez triumphs against Haney, I see it as a 50/50 fight.

Haney seems to want it. Lopez likes to demean Haney and say it's an easy win -- if so, he should take it.

Then we find out who's better rather than enedlessly discussing the hyopthetically better of the two.

“Bum gotta earn it”? So Lopez should wait for him to fight Diaz-Fortuna to fight him?
Once he beats Diaz or Fortuna, he won’t be a “bum” anymore?

Surprised nobody has notice that Haney is just a 4-6 round fighter. Second half of the fights he fights sloppy and is open for counter all day.

Lopez will KO Haney nasty. Haney’s last 3 opponents bring no threat like Lopez does, Lopez is not old, chinny and on the down side of his career

Lopez shouldn't waste his time and just move up. Lopez is undisputed, hankey is an email champ. Whether you like it or not hankey has a shlt resume and the best/only noteworthy opponent is an oldass chinny linares.

Haney won't beat lopez the way he beat Linares. I think, if he wins any more like that, he'll be ruined. I have bad memories of him hugging Linares nuts. Get a room.

Nice one! Reading that kid's original comment, the answer is going to be the same level of whatever..In other words, you won't get anything close to a logical response. Love the question, a nice polite way to expose nonsense.

Lopez might feel overconfident after seeing Haney hurt late in the Linares fight. Haney had a very polished performance, other than that blip.
Yep I also believe Lopez or Ryan would feel super confident after seeing Haney getting hurt. Not just him but those who are picking Lopez to stop Haney. The thing is Haney has it in him to fight super negative and nick a win without taking any sort of damage.

If anyone of those two do sign to fight Haney then that’s exactly what would happen, they would be outbox without Haney taking too many chances.
