He's crazy! As far as JT fluidity on offense and defense. I have not seen anything like it. To be honest I don't even know who comes second. JMM was a great technician and one of my favourites but he doesn't come close to Toney as far as overall technique

You quoted the wrong post then you be talking about assessing. You can't even find the correct post, forget about your reading comprehension cause that's at a 4th grade level

True but U knew the idiot I was referring too. Awhh. Nice to know people care.
I’m guilty as charged for pushing the wrong button but you can’t take back your INCORRECT assessment of Mayweather. Try curling.com.

          Of course.

I don’t think he’s anywhere near the best.

Not even in that stratosphere either.

            Just simply not true.

Toney infact looks incredibly unfluid in many of his fights in his prime, especially with his feet.

He was outboxed in his prime by good but not great fighters and outworked in his prime by below average fights by below average fighters, even in fights he won.

              Don’t recall.

But if we did debate about James Toney’s career I would have used factual information that you probably didn’t like the sound of. That’s usually how it goes.

Certainly wouldn’t have used a argument based around fallacy as that’s just not my style. I’m a fact based debater.

Ironically, fallacy arguments are the often go-to for James Toney’s internet fanbase.

I don't really want to mention him but Conor is also taller & had a much longer reach than Floyd.

corrales had a shorter reach than mayweather. very strangely build for a tall guy with power. but he was close to six feet tall. floyd is 5'8" on a good day.

Floyd double jabbed when he walked down Mosley.

it's the one instance I remember Floyd throwing a 1-1-2

you can find it in the Mosley fight highlight reel

Who really cares if he HAD a double jab or not? He knew how to win fights with the tools he had. AND to make himself a multimillionaire along the way. BTW, no doubt in his years as a WORLD CLASS boxer he learned how to double jab and chose not to use it.

                      That’s a crazy take man.

He’s not necessarily #1 but he’s at least in conversation for me.
