Why does it matter if they are professional boxers or not? How does that hurt boxing? Is that going to prevent certain fights from not happening? Is boxing going to be invested any less because of these games? Nonsense, if anything it will be the opposite. The PPV buy rate is likely to surpass a million. Think about that for a second. Wilder/Fury II wasn't able to hit that mark but this fight will. These guys are going to do what they do, but it's not going to impact the actual "real" boxers in any bad way.

It started when Mayweather became top dog.

He was the first face of boxing that would pick and choose fights that benefitted him instead of having the “anyone, anywhere, anytime” mentality.

It worked so well that everyone picks and chooses now.

We went from getting almost every fight to getting crap and freak shows.

Can you REMEMBER a day you actually said, holy crap, Fraud Jr. is going to get his head taken off in this fight? NO, because it NEVER happened. Fraud's been in fights where everything favored him 90%. You knew what to expect, you just hoped a miracle the other guy could beat Fraud so you can see him ball his eyes out over taking a loss.
