Not everyone's body holds up the same. Floyd has been fighting and training hard a long time like Manny. Floyd really checked out from Boxing mentally many years ago. He's been retired. Training in prime years to fight pro boxers is different than casually making a trip to the gym as an older man with inactivity.

Manny simply wants to prove more to himself while Mayweather doesn't feel the need to prove anything more as a pro.

I also think Floyd wisely realized that he can't do what he used to anymore.
