i dont think thats a smart strategy but hey he became champ this way
He stole his whole style from Homer Simpson.

To think I was debating betting Hurd decision or ko.... Luckily I just took a hard pass cause I wasn't seriously looking at the dog getting the upset even though I watched his overhand rights in that messy Keeler fight and figured they could give Hurd trouble with his left hand down and general lacklustre defense...

Hurd is fine he was just really rusty and he lost. Happens. Arias went for it and got it.

Placed a last-minute twenty-fiver on Arias by decision at 15:1....

Hurd's engine had been sputtering for quite a while.

Hell yeah man!!! Smart choice too, cause it would take more power than he's got to KO suitcase head Hurd as someone hilariously called him on the forum tonight. He was basically out on his feet though in the 10th was it?

It's funny my gut had this inkling feeling of bet small on Kingpin, and harder Arias moneyline only to keep it simple with huge dogs. Woulda been 1/2 and up significantly rather than sitting stagnant waiting for something juicy and writing run on sentences on a boxing forum while intoxicated

I thought Hurd would stink up a decision though like his last fight and Arias was on an even longer lay off was my rationale but it was all for not

Lol, if you say that then you have to say Canelo and GGG suck too because they had tough fights with Jacobs and Derevyanchenko but Jacobs went and got outboxed by a bum in his last fight.

To be honest I was about to pass on this one as you did. But then I remembered Hurd struggling quite a bit in his last fights, and - as you correctly said - thought about Arias producing a great effort after various disappointments, but indeed without knocking suitcase head out.

I didn't even watch the fight, I was convinced it was tonight, not last night! Oh, well - a good week after all, over five hundreds between Nonito and Arias... let's hope the trend continues!

It's the only fight I caught the vast majority of last night. It was stopped so many times for rain and wiping down the ****** ice rink slick ads. Some Hurd low blows. A false knockdown that got him one judge on his side in a joke split decision. Hurd tried to get another last-minute knockdown like last fight too and argued it with the ref since Arias took a knee after the final bell rang. Glad they didn't rob Arias.

This fight was better than expected and the right guy wone. Arias backed up all the talk that he was doing.

I do NOT know why I laughed at that as hard as I did, but it is a thing that happened...
